We were met at campground entrance by a camp host who took us to a very nice site. Customer Service! Rangers, volunteers and camp hosts all very knowledgeable, helpful, friendly. Incredible views from spacious sites. While the showers are spotless and comfortably roomy, they are showing their age. And there are 3 toilets but only 1 shower. That was the only drawback to the park.
You'd never believe that right across the street from this park's entrance you'll find a Wal-Mart! Sites are nicely spaced and all have trees. Park is quiet and very scenic. Most of the pull throughs will easily handle 53'. Restrooms/showers are huge and spotless. Most people would be lucky to have showers like this in their home! Staff is knowledgeable and friendly, never overbearing. Easy hiking trails available in the park. Will stay there next trip to Tucson.
Stayed for 3 nights. We very seldom use pools, TV, etc. at fancier parks and don't want to pay for that stuff. Not at all fancy but quiet and a good operating base. Office staff very pleasant and helpful. Sites are level. Park is clean and cared for. Only 4/5 others there when we were; however, would not want to stay there if it was crowded. Sites are stacked on top of each other.
Very large sites; clean and quiet. Sites in walking distance to Cavern. Staff is excellent. Park is extremely reasonably priced compared to commercial parks in the area. Conveniently located to Benson, Tombstone, Ft. Huachuca, Bisbee, etc. Gated and gate closes at 6:00 pm, so be sure to ask for a key card when you check in.
Owners very friendly and helpful. Large, sturdy, well constructed dog run. We trailer a vehicle and sites accommodated MH, trailer and vehicle comfortably. Sites level gravel and very clean and quiet. Not packed in like sardines. Would definitely recommend.
