Very nice park. We stayed here at the Escapee rate. Free shuttle to the Casino for meals and entertainment. Shower and bathrooms clean. Trash Cans at each site. Great WiFi. Hiking trails. Pool and hot tub closed for the season. The only suggestion I would make is to have someone lead you to your site.
Very nice and clean CG. Sites are a bit small and I got a crowded feeling on the weekend. But once it cleared out Sunday night, it was a better feeling for having a little bit of space. Pricey since the pool was closed and there were not programs to take part in. WiFi worked well. We would stay here again as long as we could get a pull through site.
We stayed here 3 nights under Passport America. We have a back-in site up where the work campers stay. It is a nice site but a ways from the higher priced sites. We are near the highway and entrance so hear a lot of traffic. It is the end of the season and if they wanted to sell us on the CG there are plenty of sites that are close to the water that would have impressed us. The park is neat and clean and the work campers are friendly. One plus is we are close to the free Wi-Fi hotspot at the activities building so we can use it in the coach. They charge down in the other sites to get it in your coach. All in all we had a nice visit and enjoyed our stay. The site is long enough and level.
We stayed here 6 nights. Rate reflects 3 nights Passport America and 3 regular. The owners are very friendly and provided a lot of good information on the area. Close to Freeport and seafood, we also visited the Shaker Village. There was usually a community fire up by the office in the evening. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. The last mile to the campground is a dirt road.
We stayed here four nights. Lots of activities and busy even at this time of the year. There was a Holiday Rambler group here over the weekend and shortly after they left a Winnebago group moved in. Close and convenient to Burlington and Shelburne. The grounds are neat and clean. Easy to back into sites. Some noise from the interstate but did not keep us awake.
We stayed here 2 nights on our way to Burlington, VT. The owners were very friendly and we enjoyed talking to them. Nothing fancy but still very nice and quiet. Site was pretty level and plenty big. We had a pull through site. Both evenings the owner took off in his ultralight plane and I enjoyed watching that. The WiFi hotspot is located up by the office and did not reach down to the campground where we were located. We would stay here again. Rate was Coast to Coast Rate.
Big grassy sites few shade trees. Limited 50 amp sites. Pick a site and pay at the store in town. Nothing fancy here but it is nice, quiet, and peaceful. We also enjoyed eating at the store cafe and talking to the locals. We were in town to see the elk and while we did not see them in the campground, we saw them up in the elk viewing areas way up on the hill. We enjoyed our stay and will be back in the fall.
Nice county campground. The sites are a bit tight for a big rig with slides. There are level sites but you have to pick and choose one that fits your rig. The park employees are very friendly and even trimmed some branches for us. We enjoyed our time here and would come back and stay again.
This is a travel park, a great place to overnight or spend some time if you are self-contained. Our rate was based on a weekly rate of $125. Long pull-through sites. We stayed here a week while visiting family. The owner is very helpful and reminded us to use our water regulator as the park has 70 PSI water pressure. We enjoyed our stay and will stay here again.
We stayed here 2 nights on the way to the Escapade. The park was not very full and we had a full hook up site. Lots of trees for shade. They were just opening up the pool but it looked very nice. The staff was friendly and we enjoyed our stay. We had a full through site and it was plenty long.
Nice small very friendly park. We had the large circular pull through with full hook ups. No problems and the park is neat and clean. The owners are so friendly and helpful with directions. We extended an extra night. We enjoyed the cave tours at Mammoth Cave and there was a nice breeze most of the time. A small campground but plenty of room.
We stayed here on a PPA rate for one night. The park is mostly grass and was nicely kept. We parked on the grass and was able to pull though. The entrance and exit off the highway is steep, so much so that the road is all scraped up. We dragged and damaged our safety cable for the toad. Other than that it was a good over night stay at a PPA rate.
Easy to access from the interstate. Pull through sites are easy to get in and out of. Well maintained grounds and the staff is friendly and helpful. Lots to do in the area. We will stay here again when passing passing through the area.
We stayed here two nights while visiting friends. We had a back in site with electric. There are no water or sewer hookups here. We were gone during the day. Since this is an off season, we were the only unit on our loop. So this was a very quiet park and the rangers did drive by to check on things several times during the day. We would stay here again and are glad the state parks are open year round.
We spent one night here while traveling in a pull through site. Nice clean sites. This CG is in a residential area but still was quiet. You can hear the interstate traffic with the windows open at night. The WiFi was weak and we had trouble staying connected. We had water and electric hookups. We would stay here again.
We stayed here overnight while traveling. Sites are a little tight and electric is the only hookup. It is great to have the state parks open year round and nice to have power for the night. We have stayed here twice now in the off season.
We stayed here while visiting family. We were usually gone during the day. The Campground is well maintained and the owner is friendly and when ever we saw him he asked if everything was ok. This is close to the interstate and easy to get to. Walmart and other stores are a short drive away. We stayed for 7 nights and paid $125 for the week thus the low daily rate. We would plan to stay here again when in the area. The CG is open year round. Use a water regulator as the water pressure was at least 70psi.
Very nice newer campground, everything is nice and bright and clean. Swimming is in the pond. Owners were friendly. Wi-Fi at or near the store. The Erie canal is just across the road. My granddaughter and I had a great time.
Camped with a group of 14. We had a great time. Electric was going off and on Friday night. We reported it in the morning and owner had the electric company come out and fix the problem that day. Big attraction in the area is the Amish and their shops. A nice map was provided.
