We read the reviews on this place and passed for camping (glad we did), but we paid $6 to use their dump station. There's nowhere to clear your tanks between Mather in the park (200 sites, one station), and the KOA in Williams. Should've hauled it out. Dump pipe sticks up about ten inches in the air so everyone was doing the slinky squeeze. There's no catch basin, and there was lots of "water" around it. Water spigot close, but no hose. Disgusting. AZ Health should cite them, and owners should be ashamed.
Such a beauty, set in high plateau grasslands. Sites are well spread out, some have "sandboxes" to pitch tents on soft ground. Clean restrooms, showers. Water to all sites, elec to many. No hwy noise, some lights from distant operations. All paved, no dust. Near ruins, lots of trails. About an hour east of Flagstaff. Would stay here again for sure.
Beautiful park about 20 miles sw of Corsicana on Hwy31. Turn at sign Navarro Mills. Sites are well separated, lots of trees, water and power at site. Quiet, clean. Bathrooms old, COE is at mercy of Congress' budget antics, so be kind. Two campsite loops; one with fishing dock is on quiet arm of lake, other is closer to main body (boat noise). Give the restrooms and large fenced leach field some distance when choosing site, the smells can travel. Great hosts, we'd stay here again!
