I agree with all recent reviews. This "campground" is all about location, location, location. It is a parking lot with loose gravel sites, mostly level. You get 50amp and water. I understand they do not have room for a pond, pool or trees for that matter and that's OK... my only complaint is the shower floors were downright filthy. We knew this going in and all wore flip flops while showering. The water ferry does not run on Sundays, so we took the PATH train into the city. We arrived 6pm Saturday and just walked around the downtown area. It was nice and had some decent outdoor dining options. If you're going to NYC, this is where you stay. I would stay here again, and I would bring my old flip flops.
Check in was friendly. Grounds were clean and well manicured. Paved roadways, sites and concrete "porch". Sites were medium sized but large enough. Probably some of the cleanest bathrooms and showers I've seen. Wi-Fi signal was good/excellent. 2mb download and upload. Video Skype was no problem. Well maintained pool. CATV had 60 channels or so. Probably best water pressure I've had and while water was hot enough for me, it was not hot enough for my daughter or girlfriend. Enterprise car picked us up. Stayed here to take rental car into Philadelphia. Seemed to be a lot of seasonal sites, but there were also a handful of transient people. No complaints, but would have rated a 10 if showers/changing area were a tad larger, store was a little better stocked, shower water could have been hotter. If you're going to Philadelphia, this is where you stay.
