While not one of Oregon's best state parks, it is a good and economical campground to use as a base for exploring the Bend and Sisters area. There are a few hiking trails in the park. One would need to make reservation to ensure having a site with hookups and adequate length.
It is a very nicely manicured and landscaped campground. The facilities are first rate. The highway noise, however, was very intrusive. Heavy truck traffic lasted well into the night and started early in the morning. It is OK for an overnight stopover. It is not very pet friendly.
