Nice park for us people but could have been more pet friendly. The staff was very welcoming and friendly in regards to pets but the environment could have been better. We were only to walk our dog on the perimeter of the park where there was no grass and there was a lot of cactus around. There was a nice trail that lead up to the top of a small mountain but it was lined with cactus that was unavoidable. We would stay again if passing through but not for long term.
Family friendly, clean, quiet, and friendly neighbors and staff. Huge grassy dog walking area. Although there were no bags for pet clean up and no garbage by dog walking area. Just a few miles North of Durango and 30 minutes south of Purgatory Mountain. For 10$ a day they will walk your dog twice a day while you go into town. Nice general store. The sites in the back have more shade than those in front. Our only complaint was that we were asked not to flush our sewer tanks for the night as they were working on the main sewer system.
Park was very clean, friendly, and quiet. Had a nice dog run but was not lit at night and not very big. Had a play area for kids and basket ball hoop. Easy access for big rigs. It seemed mainly people wintering from Phoenix. Overall a good place to stay. We will stay there again.
