This park worked well for us for visiting friends in Antioch and the east bay. Contrary to previous posts there are no restroom facilities (including no porta potties). The WiFi is excellent, they have cable hookups but cable TV is not available. The fairgrounds had plenty of things going on while we were here. We will stay here again when in Antioch.
Very nice park. Sites are level and easy to get into (we were in a backin). Parking in our site was not good for a 32' fifth wheel and crewcab tow rig. This would have been a 10 if not for the parking and poor cable TV selections.
The site we had by the river had a nice view. It goes downhill from there. The 2 women I talked to in the office were friendly as was the guy early in the morning turning on sprinklers. This park is basically a trailer park with a few RV sites. The long term residents do as they want and don't adhere to the rules. My wife picked up bread (?) pieces from our site when we arrived and the next morning we were greeted with some sort of chips thrown out. We also had dog crap in our site the morning we left. The PA price started at $21, ended up $28 ($32.95 if we added the Wi-Fi) with no sewer hookup. They did give us one day free because we are seniors (had to ask about it after trying to sign on after hours). The "Beer Garden" is very unfriendly as are the full timers here. I am sure we will stay at the county park next time, same amenities and free Wi-Fi.
This is a very nice park. TV is good, WiFi is excellent. The staff is very friendly. This is the first place that calls themselves a resort and truly is. All sites concrete and level. We stayed here 3 days and will stay again.
This is an excellent park, first time we have given a 10. The owners and all the workampers were extremely friendly. The store is well stocked and reasonably priced. We didn't use the pool but it was inviting. The pancake breakfast is fantastic. We would stay here again.
This rating is based on having a site up front, in back it probably would have been a little higher. I wonder if the Good Sam/Trailer Life reviewers actually stayed here. Let me start with the good things easy to find, excellent TV, excellent Wi-Fi, pool looked well taken care of, laundry was good. On the negative side: interior roads were rough and need gravel not rocks, 20 minutes of listening to how to handle our Pomeranian while there and how to park the fifth wheel. After another lecture from the owner that we parked wrong, I jockeyed the trailer to have 8" clearance from tree and 7" from electrical (measured). We could not move the picnic tables as they were chained together around the tree. When someone pulled in next to us we almost walked into each others rigs. We lost track of the number of trains at all hours of the day and night blowing their whistles for the road crossing across the highway. The owners were not friendly at all unless you were spending money. I doubt we will ever stay here again unless possibly trying the back parking area.
This was an ok place for overnight. In the Passport America directory, it says "some" cable TV sites. There are none due to the Blanca Cable going out of business. Get fuel in Fort Garland or Almarosa before hitting Blanca. We will drive the extra miles to another park.
Very friendly owners. It is nice to see an owner enthusiastic and upgrading their park. A new office and club room is being built. All sites are pull through, if busy the sites will be side by side. Cable TV and WiFi were excellent. We would stay here again.
We stayed here one night. It was OK. The workampers were exceptionally friendly and helpful. As stated earlier, there are a lot of permanents and you have to be careful leaving. Parking for them is pretty much where they want to park. We will stay here again if in the Wichita area.
We stayed here 3 days only because we couldn't find anything closer to Jefferson City. It is a joke for an RV park, more of a junk yard with a few permanents. They ran my credit card twice and still didn't get the amount right, I went down the next morning to tell the owner and he took my extra money with no more than a half-hearten thanks. If I am heading to Jefferson City again, it will be Wal-Mart for me. We will NOT stay here again.
We had reservations for 3 nights and enjoyed the park so well we extended for another 4 nights. The owners were very accommodating, helpful, and friendly. They moved us from a water and electric site only to a site with water, electric, and sewer with no problem. The WiFi and cable RV were excellent. The 2 sites we were in level, I have no idea what site the guy had that said he couldn't get his rig level. Everything was clean and well maintained.
We stayed here 2 days. Very pricey for a basically a Wal-Mart parking lot, but that seems standard for Billings parks. The 12-hour consecutive WiFi for free is ridiculous for this money. Be prepared to hear the trains all through the night. The only reason to stay here is if you have to be in Billings for some reason.
Very nice well kept park. Everyone (owners, park hosts, campers) were very friendly. A new inground pool was in the process of being opened for the season. A great place to stay and visit the many tourist areas in the area. We will stay here again.
This park is very clean and well kept. Excellent TV and WI-FI. Our 32' fifth wheel was put in a 30' site leaving us to park in the road and backing up the pickup to let someone else out of the park. The traffic noise was horrendous beginning at 4:00 in the morning. Only one person in the office and park was friendly, others were rude or could care less if we were there. We would stay here if nothing else was available in the area and only one night at that.
The manager and staff were courteous and helpful. Propane is fairly priced. Park is very clean and well kept. This would definitely be rated 10 if the TV coverage was better. We stayed 6 days and will stay at this park again. The rate is based on Passport America.
This is an excellent park to stay for a few days, we only were there 2 days due to previous reservations down the road. We will stay here again. Excellent WIFI and cable. Manager is very friendly. We didn't use the showers due to not having enough quarters with us. The rate is based on Passport America discount.
The owners are very helpful and friendly. There quite a few permanent residences, but the rigs are clean and kept up well. This park is very pet friendly, it has a fenced dog run where you can take the leash off and let them go. The only down side of Joe Creek is the lack of TV reception. If this was improved it would be a 10 rating from us. We stayed 3 days and will stay there again. The store is well stocked with exceptionally fair priced merchandise, less expensive than most convenient stores.
This is a well maintained park. The showers and restrooms were extremely clean. The pub serves outstanding pizza and clam strips. The only reason the overall rating is not higher is due to the lack of friendliness of the employees. They are not rude, just not very friendly. We stayed here for a month.
