We only stayed here for one night while traveling. We think it has the cleanest restrooms we have ever been in. It is very neat and clean. The site we were in with a travel trailer was very long. I did not think they were narrow. The staff was very friendly. There is a ladies boutique there but i didn't have time to go in. We spent most of the day there in Gatlinburg. You can catch the Trolley right out front. Its 50 cent a person per ride. If you ride to the Information center you can buy a pass for all day for 2 bucks. There is a public road that goes through it but it was never used. It is on the map an "no campsites" it is a run way road that comes out the other end of town.
We stayed here for a week and got a weekly rate. It is a very nice place. Large variety of spots. Plenty of pull through. We had a nice grassy spot (98) by the big fireplace that burns every night. If we looked we could see the ocean across the road. There is a fun park on the east side which could be noisy during the day but did not bother us. It is located very close to all the casinos. We were there during spring break. The campground provided 2 types of security. Staff was very nice and friendly also.
We like this campground because of its location. It is small, but the sites are nice sized. It is owner run, and they do their best to please. Not a lot going on, but if you are busy during the day, it's perfect. Nicely priced. Flat gravel sites. Surrounded on 3 sides by Amish farms. Yes, they are farms, and they have animals and dairy air! The bathrooms are spotless. There is an extra charge for cable and air conditioning. Check out time isn't until 2 pm so go and enjoy a nice breakfast. This is our favorite campground in the area.
We stayed Memorial weekend. Check in was a breeze. Ladies in office very efficient and nice. Received an extra discount by liking on facebook. We were in site 11-3. It was nice size but kind of in the way of the dump station. We stayed here because it was so close to Cabelas and here to hike the Appalachian trail. There are side trails to the main trail. Nice views on of this section of the trail. Everyone very friendly. Have a large volleyball court that it looked like everyone had fun playing. Everyone very friendly. Definitely would go back.
This campground prompted me to register and review. We were in 85 on the corner by the pond. There are nice size sites. It is a great place to walk your dogs. The owners were very nice and helpful. It is only 3 miles from a state park with a public dock to Cayuga lake. We are self contained so i did not use the shower. A kid said they were push button. There are loads of winery's close by. There are several Amish farms and markets. We will definitely go back.
