The RV park itself must be close to five miles off the main highway and that drive is very scenic. Don't rush that part. We lucked out & got a full-hookup space with no advance notice. Apparently we were very lucky. There were lots of empty dry camping spots however. Some caution needed backing in with the trees. Site was level, clean, shaded. Lots of shower stalls with hot water & free. Huge rigs should keep it slow & easy. In some areas watch for branches. Park rangers were polite & well informed; knew their job. Park was quiet, especially at night. We used our own wi-fi and sat.TV but heard some complaints about the parks system. We spent 2 days here, and I know we didn't see it all. To see it all with the many tours would take 4 days or so. Oh yeah, after a hard rain there can be some soft spots, or so we heard. Very interesting place. See it !

We really enjoyed our 3 nights here. The manager couldn't have been more pleasant. We had a long pull-through with some shade. Quiet nights in spite of main highway. All hook-ups & Wi-Fi worked properly. Park was very clean and a lot of work was being done to make this a more comfortable location. Nothing fancy or I would have rated higher. No credit cards taken but there are banks and ATM'S all over the town. Wal-Mart of course. Some very scenic drives to the west and to the north. We would definitely stay here again. Price was Passport America.

This is a very well managed campground. That was obvious upon entering. Clean and neat. Management was definitely 'on top' of the situation! Lot's of regulars who were friendly. Some complained about Wi-Fi but we had no problem. Hook-ups were in the proper place and worked well. A small and quaint town with good restaurants and weeks of sightseeing available. Somewhat unique grocery store with all the basics plus a lot more. Major shopping was about 15 miles away. Town is quiet after 8pm. Don't see how you could go wrong here. We loved it and will return if possible.

First the good news...strong Wi-Fi and cell phone reception. 50 amp service on the money. Now the rest..this is a small park with very sharp turns & lots of trees. We watched a 34' fifth wheel spend 45 minutes trying to get into the largest space in the park. But the turns & trees stood their ground & he gave up. Also, from the entrance to the very back the ground must sloop down at least 15' to maybe 18'. This & loose gravel make exiting an adventure. The park is a mile off main Hwy so you would think ''quiet''. Wrong, farm dogs can bark all night and new owners dog can raise a ruckus during the day and he enjoyed chasing our cats when he caught them sleeping in our lawn chairs. Seems to be a lot of work in progress with ditches surrounded by police tape, etc. Lots of junk around the edges including an old Ford in the very back. Be aware that other than soda, milk & sometimes bread you WILL drive 34 miles round trip for anything else including gas ! We can do remote but this pushed the envelope. This is probably why the park never had more than 4 other guest during our stay. Four owners in 7 years has no doubt caused some confusion as to priorities. We had a monthly rate to try this park on a 'TRAIL' basis for the summer but left before that was up. I would check out other options that exist 17 miles in either direction.

We spent one night here. There are lots of shade trees and the property is very clean. Showers were clean. Management was helpful and professional. Most of our neighbors were long timers. Looked like an interesting area to relax and explore for the summer. We are considering doing just that. Will visit again.

This is the place. If you want to see the RV park to judge all other parks by, visit this one! Would have rated it a 12 if possible. Everything was clean, operating properly, and well maintained. Staff knew the answers to everything. Very friendly regulars. Not cheap, but well worth the 'splurge'. Spent one extremely relaxing month here between tennis courts, pool (s), and sauna room. Will live here when I hit lottery.

Spent 1 week at this park in April. Very WOODSY. Sites were well marked, level, and clean. Did use showers, were cleaned daily. Extremely quiet at night. Some daytime traffic but hey, it's RV park. Kids loved the place. Will stay here again early fall.
