This campground is one of the nicest in the area. It is fairly new and is well maintained. The Mainstay Suites across the road is owned by the same people so you can also use the facilities over there if you want. The pool is very nice, the sites are level and concrete with great fire-rings. The bathrooms were spotless! The roads are paved. The trolley comes by if you want to ride instead of drive to Pigeon Forge attractions and Gatlinburg. Truly one of the nicest campgrounds we've ever stayed in!
This park could use just a little more TLC. It is only a short walk to the beach though and lots of restaurants, clubs, souvenir shops, etc. The pool was nice but not great. The showers were fairly clean but quite small. The sites were level with concrete patios. The park road is paved. Over all, we enjoyed this park. The biggest plus for us was the proximity to restaurants and clubs. The only serious problem were the mosquitoes after the sun went down. If you go here, take plenty of OFF! At least, if you go in September!
