Have stayed here many times with good experiences until now. I know it is "off season" but the grass looked as though it hadn't been mowed for at least three weeks; it was over my ankles. A good crowd for this time of year, but little care being given to appearances. The lower section by the river was blocked off and closed. Still a great place to stay, but a shame to let things go. Rate is Thousand Trails.
Stayed "off season" park was at least 3/4 empty. We had a very relaxing and quiet stay. Management had a "whatever you'd like" attitude that was appreciated. I had pre-selected a particular site on a previous drive through and although it is their policy to assign sites it was no problem. It was very hot, as Florida is this time of year, but the power stayed constant throughout our visit. Bugs were no worse than any other place around here at the moment. The few residents present were friendly, but basically left us alone. This is a nice park, and having the facilities practically to yourself is kind of neat. We will return.
