Stayed here over the Memorial Day week and had a great time. The owners are super nice people and really seem to care about you having a great time. The park is clean as a whistle and I would highly recommend. The WiFi works great in all sites as does the cable TV. Not far from Helen and a great launching spot to check out all the surrounding sites. Check it out.

Highly overrated in my opinion. Lots of highway noise from I-75, dusty gravel roads and unfriendly staff. Sites are stacked side to side like a trailer park. Employee refused to let me switch sites to get a satellite signal even though there were plenty of other sites avail. Finally let me after a few minutes of begging. The park is clean, but the attitude of the staff makes the place unappealing. Will not return since there are better options closeby.

Beautiful campground right on the Cherohala Parkway. All campsites recently upgraded to full electricity and Loop D has 50 amp service. (All others have 30 amp service.) It's unusual to find a campground this remotely located having electricity. Not a bad site in the campground and the staff were extremely friendly on the weekend of my visit. Most sites shaded so getting satellite signal could be challenging. I was also to get it though due to most leaves being off trees during my visit. Would highly recommend. Very clean and pretty place.

They call it an RV resort but it's more like a trailer park. Lots of permanent residents in run down units with metal canopies over them. Some shaded sites but too many in full sun. Sites are also close together and in straight rows without much regard for asthetics. The new owners were very nice however and said they have plans to improve the park. I found the presence of so many permanent sites depressing and not in keeping with a campsite like experience.

The best campground in the entire Southeast in my opinion. Th elevation is high so it's never hot in the Summer. Beautiful camp type setting among large white oak trees. A stream runs thru the place and the campers there always seem extremely friendly. Can be hard to get a site sometimes due to popularity. A great place to get back to nature. Very peaceful, quiet and clean. Additionally, paved roads means no dust. Would highly recommend.

Don't know why they advertise this place as being a wifi park. When I visited, the wifi signal only worked at about 3 campsites and the speed was extremely slow and certainly not broadband. Staff was also rude and seemed to care less if I was happy or not. Pretty park but staff spoils the experience.
