Nice family oriented park. The sites were good size and ours was well shaded. The weekend we stayed was very hot and the power went out several times due to everyone using the air. They had it back on quickly. The have three pools one of which is for toddlers which was nice for our three year old granddaughter. Everyone seamed to observe the quiet times as posted. The campground is large but you don't feel crowded. There were many planned activities to keep both the young and older crowd occupied.
This was the first time we stayed here. It is a small family oriented place. I liked that it was a smaller campground close to the Dells. The other campgrounds in the area are larger and very crowded. The sites here are very large compared to other campgrounds. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The facilities were kept clean. I learned that they had purchased the campground several years ago and it appears they have made many improvements and continue to do so. The latest improvement is the new pool and since it is a smaller campground the pool is less crowded. The one feature that stands out is they were smart enough to build a bar on the pool deck. Great for grandpa when he takes the kids to the pool. We will definitely stay here again.
We camped here over the Memorial weekend. Although the campground was full you didn't feel crowded. Lots of stuff for the kids to do. Swimming pool, small lake with a beach. Older campground but well maintained. Didn't use the showers but they looked like your average campground shower and they were clean. Very friendly people. They do enforce the rules which was nice. Amish stores are close buy, terrific bakery goods. We would camp here again.
Very nice park. Well maintained. The pool was going under some repair work while we were here, but it looked like a nice pool for the kids and adults. They had a live Elvis impersonater the weekend we were here and it was a great show. Lots of seasonal campers but they were friendly. Immaculate washrooms and showers. We plan on returning in September.
Very nice park. Well maintained, excellent shower and bathroom facilities. The campground was full but you don't feel like your crowded. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the sunsets over Lake Winnebago. Only complaint is there was a group camped next to us, seemed to be a family reunion, who took our picnic table, thank you very much. Would definitely stay here again.
Camped here with friends over a weekend. The campground seems to cater mostly to seasonal campers. Transient campers are placed far away from the beach and main areas. There were no shaded sites. It was very crowded on the weekend we stayed. The nice thing is the shower room was like bathroom in your home. Good campsite if your with a group or if you have children. My wife and I wouldn't camp here to relax or enjoy quiet time.
We stayed here over the Labor Day weekend. The site was very nice, shaded and level. Our granddaughter enjoyed the playground although it does need to be updated. There is good seperation between sites so privacy is not a problem. It was full for the weekend but quite time seems to be respected by most of the campers. There was a group of younger campers who were enjoying the weekend (understandably) and the staff had them go around and apologize to the other campers. They weren't really out of hand but it was good to see that they inforce the rules. The staff were friendly and courtious. We would stay here again. Short drive to all of Door County attractions.
The park is great for families and is within walking distance of the downtown area and other attractions. My only complaint is we were camped next to a group of younger people who were shooting off fireworks and partying until 3 am. When complaints were lodged with the owners nothing was done to stop this activity dispite the fact that rules against this type of behavior are listed all over the campground.
