This is the only place to stay in the Keys. Right on the water. Very clean and nice. There were always people trimming the trees and cleaning the grounds. The pool was also very nice. My only complaint is at these higher end parks people do not seem to be as friendly they tend to keep to themselves.
Perfect place to stop off on the way to Key West. We arrived right at sun set and were led to the site by an employee. In the morning we did hear the lions. Very interesting to hear them roar. I would stay here again.
This place is first class. They tried to sell me a lot which was very enticing. I really liked the place. The streets are very wide and very clean. They were were not nearly full but getting ready for snow bird season. I had a problem with the breaker and it was taken care of quickly. The only negative is this place is not kid friendly.
Really nice KOA. Great place to stay to go to the air force museum. Not the greatest but one of the better ones. Very clean and well kept. I would use this place again if in the area. I would guess on the weekends this place is fully booked.
We stayed here for a couple nights to go to the Henry ford museum. This is a good place to stay to see the museum. The park is ok. Not in the best shape. My kids played golf. I would use this park again.
The check in process was not nice. The workers sit behind a small screen and you have to bend down to speak to them. The map inside the camp ground is horrible, we got lost trying to find our site. The sites are very close and the roads are very dusty. Now the good. There is a great view of the bridge and lake.
This place is a perfect place to stay overnight. Very quiet. The ladies in the front office are very nice. They will arrange anything you would like to do. They will also tell you secrets like getting you a limo to the Texan etc. This place is very very clean. Every morning there was someone cleaning something. I would use this place again and again. The store also has the best salsa in Texas.
This is the second time I used this place. It is a shame because the people are very rude. The sites are really nice but very, very unlevel. You see pushers with their wheels in the air trying to level. I asked the two ladies in the front office how to get to the Grand Canyon Skywalk and they never heard of it? They called another campground to find out about it.
The owner was very nice. We stayed late and they did not charge us extra. There is a guy playing music at night. We ate twice at their cook out and really enjoyed the music. The owner was very helpful with direction to area attractions.I would use this stop again.
This campground is perfect for what it is. A great overnight stay. Everytime I stop, no mater what time I arrive, someone comes out and leads me to my site. First timers to this KOA will be a little nervous because the road leading to the campground is not well lighted. The city needs to fix that.
I like this KOA. I have used this place as a stop over several times. I can not complain. Easy on and off the interstate. Gas station is also nearby. It is really nice to wake up and see those mountains.
I was fooled by the lodge. It looked like a great place to be. Employees were all very nice. Sites were so close I could not even open the awning. There are lots of kids all over the place. I would pick another place because it was too crowded. We went to eat in the restaurant and the girl said it would be a 45 minute wait time. There was no one in the place. She said it was because the kitchen was small.
