Wow, what a park. They offer lots for your money. They have a nice restaurant and reasonably priced. Get this, they have free live entertainment. We listened to Robbie Craig who plays country western music and was amazing. I also noticed an outside pool, life size chess set, putt putt golf, play area for the children and the reception area also sells Indian jewelry and other treasures. The park management was extremely friendly and helpful. The nightly price was for water and electric with a discount for veterans. We were asked if we were currently active duty, because if you are it's free! How's that for being patriotic.
This is a well located RV Park just outside the road to the Grand Canyon. It is 58 miles to the Grand Canyon. This park has many pine trees but they also block any satellite reception and they don't offer cable. Hope you have a DVR! They offer a clean laundry but it's $2.00 to wash a load and $1.00 to dry. They also have an inside pool. The rate I listed was with a discount and tax. Seems like a lot but all the parks near the canyon are high. We had full hookups.
This National Park is entertaining to visit. It has a general store, animals to pet, orchards to pick from, a one room school house to view. The park has two campground hosts and they offer full hook ups for these volunteers. All other sights are offered a large gravel space, a picnic table and fire pit. No hookups. But, a dump is available for use on the way out. You are inside the Capital Reef National Park and seconds from the touring roadway. The park had rain and mud slides while we were staying there so most of the trails were closed.
This was one of the nicer RV parks we stayed at. We used water and electric only and they gave 10% discounts. The price plus tax was $33. The pull through lots are large, shaded and well maintained. All lots are gravel. They added the little touches to make the place welcoming. Whiskey barrels full of flowers and flags were at each sight. The rest rooms and laundry were spotless and they take great pride in keeping them that way. The management was extremely friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place over any in the area. Check it out before you make reservations else where. They have a dump on sight that can be used before you leave.
Wow, is the best description of this park. It has all the little touches to make it beautiful. Potted flowers around campsites, hanging baskets, flags, etc. Plus the laundry and bathrooms are spotless. The prices per night were $36 per night but when we asked if they offered veterans discounts they told us yes, half price. The campgrounds are close to Target Superstore, Wal-Mart and many other stores. The campsites are easy to access and you are guided to the site by management.
This park is four miles from the center of town and far enough from the highway that you don't hear much sound from hwy traffic. It is one block off the main hwy. The owners offer discounts (10%) for most anything. We are veterans and they gave us a discount even thought this is not a normal thing for them. The park is very nice and the price is right. We choose full hookup's but they do offer a lower price for only water and electric. Most sights have a shade trees and all have a grass area where the picnic table are situated. Owners offer many tips regarding things to see and do in the town. Arches National Park is six miles from the campgrounds.
