Upon arrival for our 1 night stay, the office people were very friendly. The site was semi-level, clean but muddy from recent thunderstorm/shower. Not sure were the $30.00 fee would go in this place. Wasn't a bad stop over, close to the tollway.
I really liked this place. At arrival the campsite was clean and a lot bigger than I would have expected. I would have given a better rating but the road noise was a downer. I used the showers/bathroom facilities and were clean at every use. I also used the laundry room twice and both washer/dryer worked just fine. Took the dogs for nightly walks around the park and it was hard to pick out seasonal sites since every thing seemed pretty well maintained. I would definitely stay here again.
I would never stay here again, I would have rather spent two nights in a walmart parking lot. This place is more like a trailer park not an RV park. The sites were barely big enough to pull in, and then to choose whether to put the awning out or start a camp fire. Unkept park with grass shin high, site still had garbage from last visitor. People do not pick up after their pets and loose dogs were seen running through the park. All sorts of people live at this park, especially irresponsible drivers doing burnouts next to the childrens playground. Long term residents can be noticed by the garbage piling up around there aging rigs and trailers. So disappointing driving across the country to arrive at a dump like that. Very helpful/friendly staff but it still wasn't worth it.
