We spent a week at Clearwater. We had a site near the water which was great. There was quite a bit of sand but that was OK. No WiFi or cable TV, but that was alright too, because we all interacted with each other like the good ole days. We had a very nice stay.
We spent a week at the Fort Stockton RV Park. This park has the greatest "private" bathrooms we have ever seen. Family bathrooms in the rear of the campground and private rooms for the ladies in the front, with bathtubs. The cafe' was wonderful for supper and breakfast and the prices were right. The sites are long enough where you don't have to unhook, unless you want to and even though you are in the desert, there is plenty of grass and trees. Actually the only grass and trees we found in quite a few States out West. The staff and owners were very friendly and helpful. But, oops, no cable TV. Oh well, I was forced to have a conversation with my husband, which actually proved to be quite enjoyable. We would recommend this campground to all who want to take in the sites of West Texas.
