Not to be redundant, we agree with all the positive comments prior to this post. Manager and staff were friendly and very accommodating. We camped in a 45' Prevost and were given a nice pull through. There is one turn on the way out that is very tight if towing. While a little bit of an inconvienience, it's probably better to unhook the tow before exiting if you're in a 45'.
Sites were gravel and level. Owner was great with all our requests. Campground and all facilities were very clean. Nice place to stay for a couple of days in the mountains. Be careful of directions through Big Stone Gap. If towing it might be better to disconnect at Walmart just off of Rt 23 and scout route.
We stayed on the lake and everything was excellent. The park was fairly empty since lots of folks had headed back up north. The park was clean and well maintained and pet friendly. Would stay there again.
This is a nice place for small motorhomes, 5th wheels, tents etc. This campground is not big rig friendly. The sites are way too small in size and clearance. Nice family camping area with lots of outdoor things to do.
Camped in a 45' Prevost. The campground was about at 50% capacity. If it had been much fuller we would have had a tough time getting in and out. We were in the older section and I was told the newer section has more room. The campground was clean and well run. There is a nice little restaurant on the grounds. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would go back again.
