This is the second year we stayed here on our way to Texas. Easy day drive from Tampa/Orlando area. The owners are the best. Everything is very neat and clean. Improvements every year. Easy access from I-10. Pull through sites. I rate this park a 10 because of friendly atmosphere, clean facility's, peaceful and quiet. Will stop here every year.
Stayed at the Lake Tyler Marina for 2 months. We enjoyed it very much. Friendly, peaceful and quiet. Somewhat primitive, we were in RV Park 2, Water front, with no sewer hookups. They did come and dump our tanks 3 times a week (included in Rent). If you are looking for a resort this is not for you. It is what it is. The South Lake Grill is awesome, great food and entertainment. Being in a dry County a great place to go for a cold one. Hope to go back there again next year.
Nice friendly campground, enjoyed the stay even if the Wi-Fi "wasn't working". HOWEVER...upon leaving the campground there is a sign showing both directions to return to I-40, heading East we turned Right. When you reach the next intersection there is NO sign as to which way to turn, we turned left going towards Interstate but no ramps. Had to get the GPS out to find our way. ON the bright side we had a nice ride through the TN. countryside. Maybe that is how they got their name.
