This is a good place for an overnight stop. The casino is small, and the laundry room is right next to the front door near the RV hookups. We didn't notice any overnight noise. I would recommend a reservation. We had one and arrived early afternoon, but it started filling up fast, and was full by late afternoon.

We liked this park very much. They have a country store, adult lounge and a bar! I've never seen that before! It's a very pleasent park, and we stayed there using Adventure Outdoor Resorts plan. It's a long hike to the river down a steep long hill, but was worth it.

We stayed in the pines, very wooded area. The big drawback was the bears! They were there every night digging through the trash. One even stood up next to our bedroom slide out on my side of the bed. The slide is at least 5-6' off the ground. It woke me up making noises right next to my head. I thought it was my cat until I turned the light on and the noise stopped, and the cat's were in their beds asleep. They dragged food under the rig, and chewed through our sewer hose. My husband opened the door one night and saw a bear cub in the trash. We needed to stay one more night, because it was cooler and we were waiting for a new air conditioner to arrive for installation in Redding. My husband paid the fee and we went in town. When we got back a note on our door said we would have to move because someone else was coming in the next day, and they wanted our site! There were sites all around us with no one near us. The 2-3 times my husband talked to these people he would come back to the motorhome and tell me how rude they were. He said he had never encountered people at a park that rude and not interested in helping anyone. I don't know if it was because they had overcharged us by two days when we first arrived, and they didn't like it when he brought it to their attention. They charged us for seven days when we were only staying five! We didn't move to another site, we left and went back to Redding. We wouldn't go back there again. The bears were enough to keep us away.

It had a lot of road noise, but perhaps in the back of the park it would be quieter. We had a pull through site for one night and it was very narrow. The manager was rude, but the employees were nice. They have free WiFi. The rate was half off for Happy Camper. It's very expensive for that area.

This is a nice clean park. We liked it very much. They also offer free cable tv. We were surprised at how large the town is. The UFO Museum and Research Center is a "Must See" place!! Very interesting. We would stay here again, and would like to visit the museum again because there is so much to see and read.

This is kind of a run down park, but we had full hook-up and we could wash the RV and car. It was very quiet which was a plus. The water was very good and we had satellite tv. A very good overnight stop. We used Happy Camper for half off price.

This is a pretty park with lots of grass, and shade trees. It was very crowded because of the Escapees Fall Escapade. We didn't have full hook-up because of so many people there. Some spaces are large, but not many tables around. We had a large space under trees, but some are very close. We received a discount using our Escapees membership card.

The electricity is very bad. We stopped there in 2002 and left because we couldn't even get 20amps and we have a big rig. We did go back for an overnighter in 2004 because we now have a Auto Former which will boost the electric. It was in September so it wasn't very hot. But, because we were only there overnight they stuck us like on the side of the road with (looked like junk) around us. From our vantaged the small ponds and hills looked pretty, but I wouldn't stay any longer then one night. If it's hot weather, forget it!! No electrity.

The road driving into the park wasn't very good, but the sites were quite wide and had lots of grass around. We weren't beside the lake, but it looked like there were more tent sites at the lake front, with lots of trees. We used Passport America.

Nice shady sites on a hill. Kind of hard driving in with a big rig, 39' motorhome. Narrow roads. Good overnight stop. We couldn't get satellite with the one on top.

This looked like a good family type campground. We didn't have a lakeside site, but they looked nice. The site we were in was kind of close. It was very crowded.

This is a small campground, and very good for an overnight visit. The manager is very nice and helpful, good customer service. We used Happy Camper for half price.

This is probably the worse park we have been in. First impressions mean a lot, and the office was filthy. I have never seen anything like it! Most spaces were taken up by full time people living there. I had made reservations way in advance, and they didn't know where to put us. We were stuck between two trailers. I would never stay there again!

We really like this park as it has a lot of shade trees and it made it a lot cooler. The staff was very friendly and even helped us get on Wifi, which was free. The freeway isn't far away, but it didn't bother me and I'm a light sleeper. There is a train way off in the distance, but wasn't a bother. It's just a very pleasent park, with lots of grass and trees. It wasn't listed as a Good Sam Park, but they asked us if we had it, and gave us the discount! It's about 7-8 miles south of Redding, almost in Anderson.

It was kind of crowded and looked like it had a large section for members only, that wasn't available for RPI members. Not too many sites for larger motorhomes. Not bad for a couple of days.

We were using RPI and supposed to pay $8 a night. We signed up for 30amps and they made us take the 50amps and pay the extra $2 per night. They also put us on a meter, and said if we went over the amount of electricty they allowed, we would have to pay extra. We had no idea what that was. (But, we didn't have to pay extra) When you look at the directions in the RPI book, it sounds like your a mile and a half from the highway. It actually runs parallel with it, and it was so close that the noise kept us awake all night. It was like having a highway in your back yard. Then on the other side of the "busy" highway was a train! They should have paid us to stay there! I would never stay there again!! For one thing, we have never been "forced" to take 50amps if we didn't need it. The majority of parks have only 30amps, so we are used to adjusting to it, especially if we don't have an extended stay.

The park lives up to it's name! Very lovely peaceful park. Nice and grassy, and quiet even though it was pretty crowded on the week-end. Not far from the "Mall of America."

A very pleasant park quiet, and lots of grass and several basement shelters. Kind of in the center of everything. Not far from Hutchinson's Cosmosphere and Space Center, and Wichita's Old Cowtown Museum. They don't allow fireworks on the fourth of July which is a plus. We left there and went to another park in another state that was so noisy. If we would have known how noisy that park would be, we would have stayed in Halstead for another day for sure.

Just a so, so park. The area is rather run down. Okay for a one night stop. Interesting sights in the area.

The sites are very close, and the wind blows hard all the time there. Didn't like the area. There is a highway and a train nearby. The management is very nice.

This is a beautiful park in a peaceful setting. The scenery is awesome in the area. It's close to Jackson Hole and the Tetons. We used RPI for $8 a night.

This is a great park! It's very clean and well kept, and a delight to stay there. One of the few who actually lives up to their ad! It's not far from the freeway, but it didn't bother me, and I'm a very light sleeper. We have stayed there twice and will go back again when we visit our children in Redding.

It's an okay park for an overnight visit. We told them we were with RUSA, but when we arrived they wouldn't honor it and we had to use Escapees discount. From what I understand they are still with RUSA and if we stop again I'll make sure they honor it or I won't stay. Recreation USA is for $10 a night for all the parks in their book, and I did report it to them. They were supposed to contact the park, and they are once again in RUSA's current book.

I can only give this park a 5 rating because of how they line up the rigs, end to end. The front row would be okay, but we were in the second row and our front window was three feet away from the motorhome in front of us and we were looking at the back of their rig. Not much of a view. I've never seen a situation like that in my two and a half years of fulltiming. We have been back and forth across country twice taking a different route from California to Maine. I just don't understand their thinking. That was the first time we have been put in a line like that. I felt we were in a dealership parking lot! We used RUSA for half off price and paid extra for 50 amps.

The park was set up nice and the view was excellent with great sunsets. The price we paid was with Adventure Outdoor Resort. (AOR) The downside was the road. It was seven miles on a gravel washboard road. Our car had a bra on it that was filled with rocks, and we got dings all over the front of the car. The car itself had 1/4 to 1/2 inches of dirt all over it. The windshield, hood, roof and you name it. The back of the motorhome was the same and my husband's bike on the back looked like a blob, you couldn't tell what it was. We have never encountered anything like this. Needless to say, my husband was very upset, and we weren't allowed to wash down vehicles. I would never go back there because of the road. If they ever tar it, then I would return.

This is a lovely well maintained park. One of the prettiest we have seen. Cement slabs for parking and very clean. The only draw back is the railroad across the road. We stayed there several times, but have decided to change parks because of the train and it's noise.

Since we were there in 2003 things might have changed because at that time it was a KOA and its listed as a private campground in the 2005 Trailer Life book. We had booked two nights and didn't like the fact that the railroad was right in front of the campground. We had to drive over the tracks to get into the drive-way. I told them we weren't going to stay because of this but, I was told that they had already charged our credit card for one night and we couldn't get a refund. We stayed the night, but the site we were told to go into was so narrow that the bushes rubbed along side of the motorhome. The picnic table was in the bushes because that's the only place it would fit.

It's a pretty park with lots of flowers. The freeway is just across the road and can have a lot of noise at times.

I would never stay here again, mainly because the railroad was across the street and it was a switching station. What a lot of noise! We had planned to stay two nights, but nixed that idea really fast.

This is a convenient park if your going to Graceland since it's within walking distance. The people were very helpful in directing us to a good restaurant and all in all it was a good experience.

We liked this campground. Everyone was friendly, and it was easy to get into. We had to 3.50 extra for electric each day. The half off price was for Passport America.

We liked this campground very much. It's clean, grassy, large sites and they offer free cable TV. It's close to Bangor and can make a day trip to Bar Harbor easily without staying in Bar Harbor and paying the high price for their parks. We used Passport America to pay half price.

This is a very clean, well maintained park. The downside is, it's not quiet!! They say in their ad that it's quiet, but the freeway circles back near the park and you hear the trucks gear down all night long! It makes it very hard to sleep.

We did not like this campground at all. It was loaded with ants and lots of noisy kids who made a lot of noise in the pool. An adult wouldn't have room in the pool. But, the worse part was that a large group came into the park with all sorts of different RV's, tents and made a circle so they could be together. It reminded me of a wagon train, and they were just a few feet away from us. They built a large fire in a pit and played loud music until around midnight. We kept thinking they would turn the music down, but didn't until my husband went and asked them to lower the music. We weren't sure how they would respond because they were all drinking. They did turn the music down, but kept playing it about another hour. We would never stay there again.

We didn't have a very desirable site. Just one big field. I had a reservation two months in advance and when we arrived they said they didn't have any more sites for Passport America people. I reminded them that I had called for a reservation two months earlier. Then when I said we would find another RV park, they all of a sudden came up with a spot for us! I felt that they thought if they said they couldn't accept another Passport America that I would pay full price. I've noticed that they now only accept Passport America for one night. We were there for five nights to attend "The Great North American RV Rally. "

This park has a lot of big shade trees. The grounds were very dirty. We didn't sit outside at all. It seemed like we were always tracking dirt inside. It is close to Tampa, but I think we would look for another park if we were in the area again. We used Passport America. They did have a heated pool, and a small pond that had an alligator in it.

I'm rating this a five because the sites are way to close now. The first time we visited, there was only a couple other rigs, but now it's very busy and your crammed into each space. We didn't have room to extend our awning. It's a very pleasent, green park and the lake is close to the sites. Since it's owned by the city, they close the gates at night pretty early. They issue a key for the gate for a refundable fee of $5.00. The manager is very friendly.

This park was pretty hard to drive in to. The driveway was uphill and narrow. Not a bad park, but we didn't have any phone service and it seemed far from town. It was quiet which is a plus, but we have been staying at another park when we visit our children. We used Passport America, which was half off the going price.

Not a bad park, but quite old. The rate was for RPI. We had trouble with the 30 amp electricity and decided to leave early. It's also far off the main roads. Don't know if I would stay there again-probably not.

The sites are too close to the highway. If there was an accident they would roll down the small hill into your RV. It was so noisy that we couldn't sleep as the traffic was constant all night. We paid for two nights and only stayed one, getting up and away at 6:00 A.M. to find a place we could sleep in.

We loved this park! It's very pretty, the people are so very friendly, and it's really clean. We liked Kerrville in the Texas Hill Country, and hope to visit there again. The $10 per night was with PA. A great experience.

They stated in the paperwork they handed out that they had a pool. I looked out the window of our motorhome wondering where it was, and saw a Doughboy Pool in a dirt field! I was curious because they advertised that they charged 25 cents to use it! We were parked in a large dirt field a short distance away from the "Pool." I would never stay there again.

It has an indoor pool and did have a wall around the park. The freeway was fairly close, but we didn't really hear the road noise. I'm a light sleeper. We stayed three days, and probably would stay again if we were just passing thru.

This wasn't a bad park to stay in for a couple of days. Close to everything in town, and managers were friendly and very helpful. Not many amenities, but we would stay again if we were in the area.

It was very rundown when we were there, and the sites were quite tight for slides. I will say, the people were very, very nice. We did have to pay $1.00 for cable for the night.

First appearance looked okay for a one night stop. That was until the first train came through! Then it seemed like it was every 15 minutes for awhile, but they ran all night. The tracks are so close you could throw a rock and probably hit them! We couldn't wait to leave in the morning. I was unable to sleep most of the night.
