This has been one of my favorite campgrounds for years. Katrina severely damaged the stately old live oaks that cover the park with grace and shade, but it's still a wonderful place, beautifully kept, many large sites, and a good buffet available next door at the casino for every meal. I highly recommend it.
This park is under new ownership. The owner is soon going to rename it Tall Pines because KOA is insisting on rate hikes that he doesn't want to impose on his guests. He goes 100% of the way to make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need, includng Wi-Fi, for which he does not charge. The park is wonderfully located, clean, neat, and exceptionally well run. I recommend it highly.
