Back of motel with 30 sites of which only 8 are for over the road or over night camping. The 22 other sites are for workers who come in late at night and leave early in the morning. Train runs on the hour all day and night and blows horn all the way through town. Sites are very tight with very old hook ups. Showers are old but clean. $35.86 is too much for this campground. I would not stay here again.
Any port in a storm will do. This campground has no electricity on some sites and you must share water. The park has two sides and both are very run down. The cost was just too much for what you get, but sometimes you must just gut up and pay the price. I will stay on the side of the road before I will stay in this park again.
This is a very nice place to stay. All is great and cost is in line with area. Secure camping with security guards driving through camp grounds every hour. Rest rooms and showers are very modern and super clean. Have 5 bars on Verizon. Will do this campground again.
What a poor excuse for a membership park. We came in under Happy Camper and left after one day. Low water pressure from 10:00 pm until 10:00 am and the power was so low (101volts). Water and electric are at the road and ganged together so every other site is on the wrong side for hooking up. Make sure you have got long hoses and extension cords. Road is a disaster and the locals run up and down at excessive speed making the numerous potholes worse. Go somewhere else. We will never stop here again.
Just a super campground. So clean and well kept. Extra clean and modern restrooms and showers. The staff are so nice and helpful. Super Wi-Fi service with great cable TV. Laundry is very clean with new washers and driers. After 50 years or RV'en I have seen the good, bad, and ugly and I would tell all my friends to stay at this campground. You can check other campgrounds I have rated and see I am very picky.
This is a very nice park to stay for a day or all winter. The park Wi-Fi is very weak and you will need to go to clubhouse to a slow speed. The park has people that are very nice in the office, but one employee is a bit lazy and will not work with returning long term campers for sites. One lady just retired and she would bend over backwards to help you with a site. We will all miss her. I will come back and hope we can get our site next year.
Great staff and very clean and up-dated restrooms and showers. We camp in a class b van so showers and restrooms are very important to us. This state park is very clean and some great nature trails and neat sink holes to visit. We will stop on way back.
The park is new with new grass. No shade in 90% of the park. Only shade seems to be in the very back without sewer hook-up's. It is a full hook-up park unless you need shade and no sewer. No picnic tables and bath house and pool is at the front of park, so it is a very long walk to showers and pool. They have a cable hook-up but it is not cable it is over the air TV, we had a problem trying to get it to work. By next year it should be better, the staff is very nice and take you to your site. (if you need sewer it is another $10.00). We will look at it next year before we make a commitment.
