We found this park to be an excellent choice, others in town are more like car parks, this campsite looks and feels very natural, with all the trees surrounding the area we were surprised how well the Wi-Fi worked, good strong signal, staff are very friendly, we had plenty of room in our 30ft motor home, if passing this campsite again we will ensure to make it our stopover.
Such a welcome relief to arrive at a real campground with wide staggered sites. The campground sites give privacy with trees all around, making this camp feel like you're once again camping and with all the facilities you'd expect in the Yukon. Wi-Fi worked perfectly with an excellent signal at our site. On connecting you get a choice of two wi-fi points so you can choose the best strength. Look behind the garage for this campground. Staff are friendly. Check out the Northern Light show in town. It's a "must see." We would certainly camp here again.
This RV Park is the ultimate in luxury, the sites are wide and the longest I have ever camped, the staff are friendly and even take the time to escort you to your site, toilets/showers are extremely clean and looked brand new, check out the TV in the laundry, the wi-fi connection is strong and very fast, across the road from the park is a Wal-Mart Super centre, just outside the park gates is a really nice Chinese restaurant, a few door along is a lube shop where we were able to get our class C motor home serviced at a very reasonable cost. if you're travelling with friends, check out the buddy sites, we booked in for one night and stayed three nights and would definitely stay here again.
This is the perfect place for a stopover from Interstate 15 or for a few days relaxation, all the sites are wide, spacious and shaded by hedges and trees, every site has their own barbecue and table, the sites are positioned so you get the feeling of privacy, a short walk or bicycle ride away is a great diner which serves anything from breakfast to full dinner, we loved the peace and quiet this campsite has to offer along with the cleanliness of the washrooms and laundry, the free Wi-Fi worked perfectly, the staff are friendly, if we ever pass along this route again we will definitely make it our business to camp here.
This is a really well located campsite, it's close to the old wild west quarter of Ogallala, and about 15 minutes drive to Lake McConaughy for picnics or bird watching, eagles, there are also some very good grocery stores around the main town, the owner was extremely friendly and even gave us vegetables out of his own garden, the campsite has an antique shop which is nice for foreign visitors like ourselves to see old American artifacts and collect-ables, excellent high speed wi-fi, we found the park to be very clean and tidy and would definitely stay again.
We stayed here for only four days but wished we could have stayed for the winter here, the campsite has a tropical feel with palm trees and it's lake full of turtles, all in all its very beautifully kept, we got a back in site looking unto the lake, the management are ultra friendly and showers and toilets are spotlessly clean, if you can cycle this is the place to be, it's flat and you can ride for miles in the cycle lanes and feel safe, we loved riding over to the beach every day and walking the pier to watch the fishermen, just around the corner from the campsite there is a really good grocery store, and postal services nearby in the same Mall, if we ever return we will stay here without a doubt.
We stayed here overnight and found it a very friendly campsite, the site was pull-through and very big, we were able to get LP gas on site and while staying found in their campsite brochure a mechanic to service our RV next morning, I know this is about campsites but we had been having trouble getting a mechanic to do a service without making a booking of usually a week in advance, this mechanic shop opened at 8.30am and serviced our RV within one and a half hours and put us back on the road happy and ready to move on, if we ever go through Montgomery we will definitely stay here again.
This is our second time at arriving at this park without notice and getting a good site, the park is really beautiful and well maintained, flowers grow in abundance and the place has an old English garden feel to it, The management are extremely friendly and helpful, the whole site is in a wooded area and peaceful setting with very good high speed wi-fi, if you need groceries there is a very good store within walking distance, overall this park is one I would recommend to anyone who needed a few days rest in peace and quiet.
We came to this campsite because it was near the Kennedy Space Shuttle launch 23rd Oct, we were made to feel very welcome by the management and people who work on the grounds, we were told that ongoing work at the campsite was in progress and for that I praise their honestly, there is a bit of a mess around the ground but it's only to be expected if digging is going on, we were escorted by a very friendly lady to our site who even offered to help set up our site, although the campsite looks messy I have to give this campsite a high rating because they really went out of their way to make us feel welcome during our stay, if we ever return to the area we would stay at this campsite, hopefully the work will be finished and the area will be grassed over.
It was sheer luck that we found this campsite, it's not very well advertised from the main road, but on entering this place it looks very tropical, after we buzzed the office we were met at the electronic front gates by a very friendly lady and escorted to a spacious drive in waterfront site which had its own jetty and Tiki hut, this place may be on the pricey side, but as the saying goes, 'you only get what you pay for', and $108 a day is not bad for living in paradise, the pool is spacious and very clean, washrooms and laundry, are also clean, we stayed here for a week and loved every minute of it, if we ever get the chance to return to Florida keys we will definitely book this place and stay at any of the sites they offer, all sites are big, most offering waterfront sites, some sites are back from the water but have beautiful gardens surrounding the back.
Upon arrival at this site we were told that because we didn't book in advance that we could not get the Good Sam discount, we accepted refusal of discount from the friendly lady who booked us in, we were escorted to our campsite by two men in a golf cart, one who took great satisfaction and delight as he laughed watching as we tried to squeeze into what looked like an obstacle course, a grassy area with tree stumps sticking out of the ground, next day my wife went to the laundry and left her washing for five minutes and returned only to find one of the residence had removed her washing and put his in the machine, no washing had been taken but in my opinion removing someones unfinished washing to use their machine is as low as theft, we would not stay at this park again.
