We really enjoyed this family owned and operated campground. Nice large private sites, good kids play area, clean recently-updated restroom/showers and a game room with pool table and air hockey in case it gets rainy out. The Rocky Mountain NP boundary is literally next door and we saw moose several days in the campground and heard elk bugling at night. The Verizon signal was strong with 4G and the Wi-Fi was unexpectedly good too. High marks for this place!

This is really the only choice in town and the staff are very friendly. It is a former KOA and is not bad. It is just outside town making for easy access to Walmart, restaurants, etc. Gripes were that the drain was at the back of the pull-thru site where power was near the front. That was a challenge for us. Road noise is moderate and no fire rings or even a BBQ grille at our site - though some other sites had BBQ. We would stay here again if we needed to be in the area. The people of Craig, CO were all very friendly.

We camped several nights here while seeing Sequoia and Kings Canyon NP. We wanted to be on the North side of the two parks and were very happy here. Downsides were limited selection of sites for our 40' fifth wheel and most sites are not level in either direction. That being said, we loved being in the park and were happy to dry camp in order to do so. This was the only one of three NPS campgrounds that were open when we were there since it was early season.

Love this campground. Beautiful views, easy access, right by the visitor's center, modern restrooms and power! One of our favorite campgrounds!

After 4 months of travel, this park was one of our favorites. Nice, well-shaded, gravel spots with lush grass around them, DirectTV, good sized spaces that are quiet in a relatively small RV park and a play area for our kids that is tucked away so as not to disturb other campers. Pet friendly. The only downsides were no fire pits (each site does have charcoal BBQ setup) and being about 14 miles from the West entrance to Yosemite. Wish we were closer. However, considering the benefits of the place and the very friendly staff, we'd be pleased to stay here again for our trips into the valley since our rig is too big to go down there.
