We stayed here for a year. This is a 55+ park. Showed up for the winter and stayed because of work. It's a great RV park, but as is typical in AZ, there is no shade. Also, unlike other parks in the area, this is an RV only park. No park models or mobile homes. Lots of activities and lots of nice people.
Previous review said "Ask for a back-in site; you’ll be glad you did. I was told the back-in sites are not for customers who pay the weekly rate." This is not so. When we first got here, we had a pull-through site. And I agree, they are too close for comfort. When we decided to say for a few weeks, we had to move because the site we were in was requested by someone. We moved to a back-in site and have been paying for it weekly. The campground is top notch. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. There is great security, you can have groceries delivered, you can get propane delivered and the shuttle to the nearby casino is available. The only reason I gave a 9 rating is due to the drive-through sites being so "snug". But even in them, you do get a decent grassy area with fire pit and picnic table.
If you like a rustic campground, you will love this place. It is very wooded and some of the roads are a bit rough, but very passable. We have always had the same water site each time we have been there, as we and the dog, can go swimming just steps away from the camper door. Larger rigs may have a hard time with some of the corners, so be sure to be aware of that. According to their web site, their new pull-thru sites are now available.
