Well maintained with a very friendly and helpful staff. We were a little put off by the lack of green space in the campground proper, but the excellent view overlooking the city and the other virtues of this establishment outweighed this issue. Highly recommended.
Although we had a reservation, we did not stay here. The man who "greeted" us upon our arrival was exceptionally rude and overbearing. At the office, he immediately informed me that I needed to "get a move on" because he "didn't have all day." He showed us where our site was located on a chart and asked for a check or cash to pay for our entire stay. When I asked to the see the site first, he acted extremely put out and again told me that he "didn't have all day." I politely reminded him that I am the customer, whereupon he adopted a bullying posture and demanded, "What did you just say to me?" I should have just left the premises at that point, but I went ahead and inspected the site, which was too narrow for our coach and very unattractive. Then, when I called the office to explain why I would not be staying, the proprietress launched into a tirade before I could even speak, telling me I shouldn't be so picky, and that I wouldn't find anything better elsewhere. It was a most unpleasant experience.
