We had a deluxe site that had tons of room. Other sites are very close together. Lot of kids (it's is Jellystone Park). Did not like that guests had to park outside the park and walk in. $5 charge per guest too. Our kid's enjoyed it, and it is very close to downtown.
Very big campground. Took a good 15 minutes to get from gate to campsite at 5 mph. We stayed here as guests of a member. There is lots here for the kids, but way to many rules. They watch everything you do and charge you extra for everything they possibly can. Check-in was a major hassle. They need to do major streamlining of the check-in process. Requirements were different depending on which person you talked to.
Family friendly place. Check-in was easy. They are very accommodating. Very flexible on letting us arrange our TT and 2 5ers in a "U" shape so we could share same area between us. It would be nice if there was some more grass. Sites are mostly dirt. There was a problem with showers (no hot water) but I think that was temporary.
As stated, this park is kind of geared to fisherman on Saginaw Bay. We had a full hook up, pull through site. Pad was cement. There was plenty of room. Also room to park boat and trailer. Most of the sites are permanent/seasonal spots. Everyone had a golf cart. Showers were clean. There is a small pond for the kids to catch bluegill and bass, but not much else. Catholic church close by in downtown Linwood. The marine is top notch with good boat ramp.
Much the same as previous reviews. All cement roads, sites, and pads. Was 100 degrees, so cement was very hot, too hot for bare feet. No shade. Park is well kept and gated. Showers were clean, but we did not like the set up, no bench or spot to place items. Pool was clean. For the price park was very nice.
Park is small, but decent. Woman in office was very nice. Not much in the playground for kids. We would stay here again if in the area. Some sites looked like they required rig to be leveled, but our pull through was flat.
