This is a great campground for families!! The owners of this park are what make it incredible. They really enjoy kids and make it a great experience. They knew my kids by name by the end of our long weekend. We were going to go into Gatlinburg for some sightseeing and shopping, but we were having such a great time at the campground we decided to stay there the entire time we were camping. There are a lot of activities and games. The stream is great to play in (even though it is too small for tubing). It is located about 15 minutes from Gatlinburg, but we enjoyed being further from the crowd. This is a must visit campground if you camp with children.

We have been going to this campground for a few years (and it was one of our favorites) but we were very disappointed during this stay. This campground used to be very kid friendly with a lot of kid activities and the people running them used to be very friendly, but that was definitely not our experience this time. They have switched ownership and it just is not the same any more. The people doing the crafts were not prepared and very disorganized. You can no longer rent tubes to go down the river. They have taken away a lot of the campsites and put up cabins instead. Still a beautiful and very clean location, though it is a significant drive to civilization. A stay here can get very expensive with all the added cost for extra people, extra tents, river front, etc. Would definitely recommend the Jellystone campground in Gatlinburg instead of this one if you are looking for a place to go with your children that has some activities.

We stayed here for 10 days while we were visiting Universal Studios theme parks. The campground is only five minutes away from the park! We were very pleased with the campground and for the price you could not ask for anything better! We really enjoyed the bike path, the orange trees, the lake, the children's farm and the disc golf course. The park is very close shopping, dining and just about anything else that you would need while still in a very natural setting. The bathrooms were clean but old (could use a new paint job). The only downside of this campsite for our family, was that they do not allow a camp fire. It was hard for us to camp for 10 days and not have s'mores!! We will definitely stay here again!
