A very enjoyable park. For direct/dish TV, ask for a pull through. I reserved 1 night, and stayed 4. Very friendly check in. Lots of things for kids, and many groups come and visit. A very quiet park.

New Owners have upgraded the park. New gravel roads, excellent access. Big Rig Friendly. About 5 blocks to Yellowstone North Entry. Animals are everywhere. What a treat!!

Not very easy to get a big rig into the park. Made it though. WIFI is extra, $5. a day. "Approved" RV wash company wanted $300 to wash our rig. Watch your wallet at this park.

Excellent park. Gravel and level. Not sure what other posts are complaining about. Can listen to train toot on way to and from Silverton. WIFI is a little weak, but we were farthest site from office.

Big Rig Friendly. Gravel sites for overnight. Rawlins is a pit stop. Better choice than KOA. No complaints... but one night is long enough for this part of Wyoming.

Tight is only way to describe campground. Our 40 footer blocked the rear entry door of neighbor in 5th wheel. Sewer inlet higher than discharge pipe on motorhome. No other choices in park with hookups. Yellowstone is wonderful. Smaller units will work much better here. Needs upgrading for newer units.

OK place to overnight. Used another campground in town on way home- much better choice. Wifi not working. Very tight for Big Rig with small tow. If you have to stay... then do it...

The campground is one mile from beautiful Turquoise Lake. That is the nice part. Needs extensive repair. Before booking, make sure your site is not a mud hole. Only concrete runners on a few sites. Will not hold a 35 footer or larger. Needs upgrading drastically.

Park is at entrance to Rocky Mountain Park. Roads and sites are gravel. Good cable TV and WiFi. Nothing fancy, but excellent entry point to Park. Very helpful staff.

Way Overpriced for what you get. Stench of dumpsters was everywhere. Left early. Never again at this park.

We stayed up top. The views are worth the price of admission. Excellent campground. The lower sites are electric only, but right on the creek with mini waterfalls. Would recommend to anyone.

This is a wonderful campground. Excellent owners, unbeatable view, and lake fishing. It is a bit remote, but that is our preference. Jeep trails in the mountains.

We stayed in a premium site right on the river. Watched the Canada Geese and ducks swim and fly the river. Top shelf park for big rig. Excellent staff and near town of Salida.

Excellent, clean park. Wonderful views in two directions of the mountains. Across street from golf course. River is on edge of park. Swings, slides for the little ones. Stayed a 3rd day.

Excellent state park. Plan ahead as it gets booked up quickly. Plenty of space, miles of paved hiking and bike trails, fishing pier, and beautiful scenery. Rustic setting and views. Drive of about 5-10 miles to decent store. A place that can be enjoyed by retired couple, or entire family.

Best place in Red River. The river runs though the park. If you are old and cranky like me, ask for the 200+ sites in the Summer and you won't be near the kids, yelling, and ATV noise. Excellent place to stay and near 8,000 feet, extremely nice place to spend the hot weather months. Nice store, wifi in the store, friendly staff and they keep the park clean, neat, and enjoyable. First Class operation.

Bentsen is a walk or bike ride from Bentsen State Park and the World Birding site. Excellent park with lots of room. Hit me with a month of electricity at $158.00 which was excessive. Laundry and showers are clean. Cable channel selection is terrible. Some staff members are rude. However, park is extremely nice with lots of concrete, picnic tables, large fire pits for visiting, etc.

Nice over 55 park. Lots of Canadian visitors. Winter Texan park with several full time park models and mobile homes. Caters to friendly people that want lots of activities, pot luck dinners, exercise, bike riding, pool activity, and shuffleboard. Grocery and Wal-mart a couple blocks away. Near several excellent birding sites.

Very nice, neat park for Big Rigs and pull throughs. Friendly staff, stocked convenience store, full library, cable internet in library, exercise room, clean laundry, etc. Bring your blocks to level your motorhome as park required grading for drainage. Wide spaces with abundant concrete and picnic tables. Plan on being back there for our fifth time in February 2007.
