This park is nice and clean with lots of amenities. Shade it everywhere and there is a lot of pride shown in the maintenance. Here is also 24 hour security patrol. It is a very pretty setting, but there is a little construction in the area, but it is not obvious unless you are one of those people who complain about the little things. I would have scored it a "10" had the Cable TV reception been better. The previous rater complained about the ATV noise. The park is popular with sportsmen, but ATV's are not allowed to be used for transportation in the park, only to come and go as there are numerous trails in the area. ATV's with stock exhaust only are allowed and they were not as loud as the exhaust note of most diesel pickups and motorhomes. I will surely stay here again.
I can't think of anything reasonable that would have made this park any better. It is well maintained and very clean. The pool area is very nice with lots of tables and fire pits for in the evening. They have a small coffee shop in the clubhouse and a shop where general RV supplies can be bought. Most of the spaces are pull through with concrete slabs and a small plot of grass. We stayed there for NASCAR the past two seasons, and will continue to do so as long as they are open. Access to the park is easy from the freeway (1 block) and the Strip is just minutes away. If there is a negative, it is that there always seems to be a mis-directed piece of the irrigation system that soaked a part of our patio each time we have stayed there.
This is a very nice park for a county park. The sites tend to be a little small to back into, but are nicely situated with cabanas and picnic tables, as well as fire pits and grills. The lake is within view of most sites and fishing or swimming from the shore is a 5 minute walk down to the lake. There is a free dump station available near the exit to the park when you leave. A boat ramp and marina are also close by. It is a desert, so it is hot in the summer, but there are 50 amp service available to run your A/C. It does cool off at night. We stay here several times a year. ATV trails are also near by.
This park is very nice, with lots of shade. The spaces are gravel, but very clean, raked neatly, and level. I can only best describe it as a hide-a-way type setting. There is a creek just a short hike behind the park in a grove of Cottonwood trees. It is very, very quiet and peaceful, almost to the point of being too quiet. Other campers seemed almost reclusive, and didn't mingle much. However, the camp hosts were very friendly and interested in our comfort. They advertise WiFi in the park, but I could not find it. I tried to connect from my space but could not; although I did not ask for help either. Water pressure seemed to be very low at times, but everything was always in an excellent state of repair. We brought our ATVs along as there are loads of trails to explore, and we were able to ride right in and out of the park as long as we were street legal and obeyed the park rules. The public restrooms and showers were spotless. There there is a small hot tub available, as well as lots of shaded picnic tables and gas BBQ grills available for your use. But for the low water pressure and hard to find WiFi, I would have rated this park a "9". The climate here tends to be a little warm in the summer, but we will definitely stay here again.
