Tip from a local: this park backs up against Franklin Mountains State Park, so you can hike for miles! Gorgeous high desert surroundings, always a breeze (or wind, leave the big awning rolled up). Meticulously clean restroom & laundry. Huge pull though spot with several different choices for septic. We survived 'Flood 2013' here with no loss of water or power, just a Wi-Fi outage. Location was fab as when coach leaked, I just rolled it down to Camping World and got it serviced. Thank you host, for making this such an easy stay. I've seen the other 'RV Parks' in El Paso and wouldn't stay in them even as the well-armed Texan I am. Stayed for over a month, due to family situation - monthly rate very reasonable. This location would probably be very exposed during March/April Spring windstorms, but then again, so is all of West TX/NM.
Fine for an overnight stay, we were on a road trip and didn't reserve anything else ahead of time. Not much within walking distance, other than a spooky gas station/bodega. Seemed like a lot of long term residents in disadvantaged economic circumstances. Easy to get to, right off the freeway, with long, but quite narrow pull-through spots.
