We stayed here a month-rate reflects that. Was right in town, near grocery, restaurants and Walmart. Was fairly quiet and we enjoyed our stay there. Was central area for Tahoe, Virginia City, Reno etc. Would stay again!
Stayed there to go through Death Valley. Campground doesn't look too inviting at first, near busy road etc, but was OK for our use. Wild donkeys came into campground in morning. Level sites, good TV reception, and nice folks. Will stay again if in area.
Stayed here under Passport America. Campground itself is in what looks like poor area of town, not looking too safe. Not much of a campground but for overnight was OK. Great Outdoor Mining Museum there, very interesting, best we have seen so far. Not much else in town for RV parking, but would not stay here again unless had too.
Nice Campground! We went there to use dump station after dry camping on BLM land and wound up staying there a week. Right on river-- level sites, good TV reception and nice folks. Will stay again if in area.
Nice Campground! We wound up staying there a week. Very near Boulder City and Boulder Dam and boat access. Each site is semi-secluded from others, giving a private site feel. Will stay again if in area.
Needed to dump tanks and do laundry etc after dry docking in Yuma. Seems like a nice place-Many people gathering for potluck-looked like regulars seasonals. Spaces are narrow for big rigs but got our 4 slides out- Trees on either side were tricky to park under, but doable. No TV reception except for Mexican stations. Verizon air card worked great. Only one small house pet allowed-but exceptions can/must be approved by office. Pet owners are parked in separate area from other campers. We have 2 cats and were put here as well even tho cats are indoor cats. Strictly over 55 park. Did not use other facilities. Close to Algodones Mexico was a plus. Would stay again.
Stayed here 2 nites with PA discount. Old Old campground- not well kept up- looks like lots of seasonal snow birds and a few permanents. Parked us beside an old rundown motorhome with garbage everywhere around it- there were other spots available. Was quiet, appeared safe and worth the PA discount- but will look for other arrangements next time.
Small park, adequate, clean, good for short stay or Snowbirds if you want peace, no activities etc. Very friendly owner, go to next street and come in back way to avoid dusty entry into park. Denny's cafe very close as is golf course. Nice town, close to sites. Super Wal-Mart etc close by as well. Price reflects PA discount.
Price reflects PA discount. Small park- nothing fancy-right in town, close to Wal-Mart, restaurants, etc and close to Mesa Verde Park and other attractions. We stayed a week- spaces were large enough for our 38 ft fifth wheel, and there were several large MH's there as well.
This is our 2nd stay in this RV Park- this time from May to August. Park is very well kept. Beautiful club houses, showers, and laundry. It is not real user friendly. Long concrete pads to park on, but no picnic tables and personal items are not allowed on grass. Sites are very large and plenty of space between sites. Very friendly staff. Would give it a 10 if not for failure to have area for picnic table, chairs, etc.at each site. Rate listed is monthly rate divided by days in month.
Nice park. Spaces are a little tight, but got our 38 ft 5th wheel parked with no problems. Nothing extra, but nice and quiet and away from road noise. Excellent customer service. Would stay here again. Used PA discount for 6 nights.
Good park for short stay. Many sites occupied by "monthly" campers. Very good customer service, clean, level and good pull through sites for us. Do be aware of rooster crowing at nearby yard however at 5 AM! We would stay again.
This campground was easy to find, had good customer service but was right on a very busy road. Within 2 hours I saw 2 near accidents, squealing tires etc., with people going past and those leaving the campground. The KOA also had gas pumps that locals used. Lots of permanent sites and traffic to and from them also was excessive. We had a site right next to gas pumps. Was an OK place to stay if no other available for the night, but not for extended stay.
Nice campground, good price and all that we needed for our stay. Highway noise not bad. Pull through was long and level with plenty of room on the sides. Would stay here again. Looks like winter months have some activities etc.
This campground is 2 blocks from downtown Sturgis, close to grocery, entertainment, post office, Pamida, etc. We stayed 9 nights 1 week after the rally. Essentially just large gravel parking lot but nice level spaces, ease of in-out and hook-ups. Price for 1 week is $100.00 and we used Passport America for remaining 2 days as it was great point to sight see all through the Black Hills. Restroom and laundry were like new, very clean; and the customer service was outstanding.
We were very impressed with this campground. The layout was great. It was a breeze to pull-in and park. We were parked at the outer circle and it was extremely quiet, clean and restful. We had Canadian geese visiting our site one morning. Will definitely stay again.
