Nice quiet park. Lots of places to explore. There were a lot of pine needles that needed cleaning up, and some of the fire pits needed replaced, but otherwise a very clean park.

We were disappointed that a lot of the non reservable sites were not available to recent flooding, but that was no fault of the parks. Everything was wonderful while we were there. Nice bathrooms with showers. Great park for walks; so much to explore. We can't wait to go back!

We stayed in the pines loop, and we always love staying here. It is such a beautiful and peaceful setting. No road traffic noise, and each campsite is nestled in the trees. Many sites have a river view. The sites are not close together so you feel like you have room to move. They have a nice playground for the kids and a wonderful newer modern restroom with showers. It has an easy walk behind some of the campsites to trout fish, and it's a safe place for kids to ride their bikes. The ONLY inconvenience was having to save your trash to dispose of in a different loop of the park. We highly recommend it if you want a beautiful and quiet campground.

We love to camp there because it's close, and it has a lot of amenities for families. It's nice to have full hookups, and most of the campsites have nice shade. They have great loops for the kids to ride their bikes and planned nature activities for all ages. Overall it's a great park, but the maintenance has gone downhill, and it's not as clean as it used to be. Other than that it's still a great place to camp.

A nice local park with some great campsites for all types of RVs or tents. Very shaded. One loop is right on the river and the other is on a hill in the trees, some with river view. The ones in the loop are bigger campsites, but if you are bringing your boat, you might want to stay in the river loop. There are 2 wonderful campgrounds for the kids to play on and lots of places for them to ride bikes or go on walks. It is very dog friendly too which is important to us. They also have great trails for bikes. Our only dislike is that they don't have sewer hookups and about 1/2 of the campsites have no water hookups, but overall it's a great park.

Beautiful new State Park. A+ amenities. I have never seen a cleaner park; the minute you leave your campsite they are there to clean it! Beautiful shaded spots, very large campsites. Lots of peace and quiet and privacy. Great views at any campsite. They have a wonderful marina with rentals and a great playground for the kids and lots of places to walk; however, not at the campground. The only drawback for us is that the campsites are all on a a road that is a hilly, narrow, one way road which is dangerous to walk or ride your bike. You have to drive to the other area of the park where the playground, marina and walking areas are. This does make it quieter in the camping areas though.
