I agree with all the accolades the other reviewers have given this rv park with one exception - the Wi-Fi. They hand you coupons with codes for two hours of use every 10 hours but it doesn't matter. You can never get on. The park is so big that there are too many people on at the same time unless it's two o'clock in the morning. And it helps if you are in a site near the office so reception is good. You can go in the main building and use their conference center, but again if it is a prime time that won't help. We had our own hotspot as backup so that worked. Park is right next to a new zipline adventure park which kids love. The Mexican food at the park is great and reasonably priced. You can eat here even if you're not using the park.
The only site available was one of the newer, unlandscaped ones up on a bluff and very hard to get to. But it overlooked the river and the staff was very helpful getting us into the site. The utilities were fine, including the Wi-Fi. We're self-sufficient so didn't try the laundry or showers. We would definitely stay here again.
This campground is halfway between Essex and East Glacier Park in an open meadow, although there are wooded sites available for smaller RVs. They advertise free Wi-Fi but what they mean is free limited Wi-Fi (checking email only) and you may have to access it by going to the open air pavilion (lots of bugs). Same goes for cell phone service. You need to put your phone directly on the booster in the pavilion. No sewer connection and if you need your tanks dumped you can notify them one day in advance of their Mon, Wed, and Fri schedule. Showers were clean but postage stamp size. Two washers and two dryers. We would not camp here again.
