We have stayed here several times and wanted to leave a review because of the previous posts. The Wi-Fi worked fantastic in our RV. it worked way better than most parks with pages loading very fast. The location is the best in Santa Fe so if you want to be close to town this is the place to be. You have to give this park some slack for being a "in town" park. It is right on Cerrillos Rd. after all!! The location is the best and the owners (or the people that run the park) are fantastic. Very friendly and the most accommodating people to meet your needs.
This is a very unfriendly park. First of all, you have to make reservations by check, by mail. When we got to the park we had to shorten our stay by a few days but we still had to pay for the "reserved" dates. You cannot call in to change your dates because they must be done by mail. So, make sure you know them carved in stone before you send in your check. You cannot ride bikes in this park. I was threatened that they would call the police if I did not get off my bike and walk to my trailer. They are very rude. We will never stay here again! Buyer beware! There are other really nice parks in this area. This is a shame because this could be a really nice park: but the people make it terrible!
We camped here for most of the summer. The park is split into 2 different parts. "The Meadow" area is open with large grassy areas for each camper. "The back area" is shaded with huge trees (if you want satellite don't stay back here). They have a 5 acre dog area where you can take your dog off leash, so if you have a dog its a great place to stay. Friendly staff. We will always stay here whenever in Durango.
