This is a beautiful, peaceful park. We were shown to a spot right beside the river (bayou?) and by backing our motor home onto the site, we were able to sit at our dining table and watch the fishing boats chug by in a leisurely manner. This park is very relaxing after a long day of driving. The management is extremely welcoming and helpful and the overall scenic beauty of the park is super. The Wi-Fi connection boomed in without any problem. We have stayed at this park several times now, and it will always be one of our stops when we are in this area.
This is the second time we have visited this park, and my impression has not changed. The person who was in the office when we arrived this time was actually very rude and abrupt. As soon as Passport America was mentioned, he had no spots available, but would offer us dry camping for the same price because we were already paying only half the regular price. Needless to say, we moved on and will never visit this park again.
The owners of this park are exceptionally accommodating, right from the first phone call to make a reservation down to assisting you in every way possible to locate the park and get set up. When we arrived the gentleman was waiting at the entrance to the park to direct us to our spot. Once we had parked the rig, we sat right here at a little table and chairs and completed our registration and payment details. We've never had that kind of service anywhere else before. Everything is extremely clean and tidy, the Wi-Fi service is excellent. No fees and instantaneous connections. From our dining room window we watched the squirrels playing along the fence-line, found brilliant green froggies hopping along the water line, etc. Unfortunately, we were homeward bound and did not have time to explore all that the park had to offer, but we would definitely return to this park again and again.
