This trip was visit #5 for us and we are going back this summer. Most of the staff are retired and staying in the park. We love the location. The fishing is great and there is something for everyone to do here - horseback riding, paddle boats, ping pong, pool tables, "tubing" on the river, family friendly shows, miniature golf, bike riding, horse shoes, they even have a tram that runs all over the park to take you to and from everything. They have something for everyone to do here and the weather is always wonderful!
This is a very lovely, well maintained park. Campsite backed up to the river where my husband fished. There is a gate and gate keeper but we didn't mind that because it keeps traffic down. There were plenty of tall trees so it doesn't feel like a parking lot at all. Loved the showers! They are so clean. You get a key, plus the door locks behind you, so it is totally private. We really liked the place but thought it was pricey since it was just the two of us and our dog: the bill was over $100 for two nights.
