This is a very expensive campground for what you get! We'd have been better staying at West Glacier! The KOA claims this is renowned for it's huge playground: well, it's not that big! A couple of swings and a wooden fort with slides! The pool is good (indoor and outdoor), the pond is tiny. There is an outdoor checkerboard. We had llamas and donkeys and goats wondering around so don't leave things outside or they will get eaten! Pizza place looked ok but was not open when we were here. Lots of indoor game machines for rainy days.
Great little campsite and very friendly. Hayrides, mini golf, and a petting zoo for the kids. You can even help feed the animals (though check for times). They have lambs, calves, chickens, ducks, and rabbits! The mini golf was good, store was well stocked. Sunsets over the lake are magnificent. Only downside was there are a lot of sites (especially the full hookups) which were taken up with more seasonal and long term campers so definitely try to make a reservation first. Everyone very friendly though.
Stayed here on our way out of the Cascades. Close to freeway, quite a lot of sirens heard. Busy site, lots of trailers and families. Store isn't well stocked. Quite a cramped campsite with small patches of green in between each individual site. Very noisy at night. The swimming pool is large and indoors, but very chlorinated. Showers at pool weren't particularly clean. We wouldn't stay here again.
