This spring we went on a luxury park trip to the Palm Springs area. Outdoor Resort was on our list and was a pleasant surprise. The resort is very renter friendly with Bingo, movie night, golf, swimming pools, bike riding, outdoor cafe and evening walks. The people went out of their way to say hello and ask where we were from and if we were having a good time. At Bingo people would ask us to sit with them. The resort was very well kept with the best manicured golf course I have ever seen. The resort is going though a growing stage with the addition of alumawood patio covers. This new addition will really help with the enjoyment of the sites. I rated this park a 9, because there is still a need for even more owner improvements to the sites that would increase their usefulness and enjoyment. Hopefully, those in charge will implement these as approved improvements. We will stay here again and would consider buying.
This is an exceptionally beautiful park. The spaces are wide with each having a small blacktop sitting area on the the side of your RV. The park streets are blacktopped. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location to Yellowstone and the town could not be better. The negative is the WI-FI. They have a coupon that you log in with and then every two hours you get bumped off. It is Tengo net. If they offered WI-FI in the complete park this would be a 9-10 park. Also Tengo net is slow.
We stayed for one week. The site we had looked at the mountains and a river. Picture perfect. The park is smaller compared to others, but perfect to achieve the feeling of a Bed and Breakfast park. Every morning the owners offered a breakfast spread, every afternoon they offered a meet and greet, and every couple of days the offered a dinner. We felt like we were at home. Fresh baked cookies on the counter were just another warm extra to this park. The spa was in a perfect location to view the surrounding area, and it was always hot and clean. The wi-fi worked perfectly. The office, kitchen area, pool table room, dinner lodge, and the super large balcony were out a designer's magazine. Picture perfect. Are you getting the idea that we will back? Say yes.
We stayed here again for one week in our 36' Motorhome. The whole place is picture perfect. You have a park side and a resort side. Last year we stayed in the park. The park is an area with gravel sites and a bush at each site. The resort side which are privately owned and rented are landscaped, concrete pads and patio covers. This year we stayed in the Resort. We had a great site with all the extras. However to our surprise the Wi-Fi only was offered to the park side, not the resort side. A big negative. Then again last year the Wi-Fi barely worked. They do offer a computer room where the internet was available near the office where it worked most of the time. In defense of the owner, this park is 8,600 feet above sea level. Internet is just not readily available. I am told he has tried everything to improve the internet access. Creede is a small town with little shops and a local culture. Larger small towns are within an hours drive if you need more of anything. Will stay again. Loved our visits. Friendly staff.
We paid extra for their best sites. We had a concrete pad with a little concrete area for sitting. It was a pull through site. This park has every type of site from RV to cabins. The pool was nice, but the spa was closed. Wi-fi worked perfectly. There was a little street noise where we were located. Further into the park the noise could not be heard. Many large trees. Gravel access roads. We would stay again.
We stayed here for five nights while visiting the Mt. Rushmore area. Very centrally located to all the sites. This park covers a large area of land. Very scenic with trees and hills. The sites are very large with plenty of space between each site. The Wifi sometimes got slow but acceptable. This is a very quiet park. Many families but because of it's size no noise. The pools are very nice and clean. They have a few extra buildings for activities. We kept busy outside the park so I cannot rate activities. We would stay again.
We stayed for one night in our 36' Motorhome. The owner checked us in and was very nice. This is a smaller park tucked away down a small road off the main road. The road to the park is in need of a tree trimming. Some of the branches came very close to our RV. The park however was well maintained with grass between sites. The sites were perfect size for a pull through. This is a pass through park, nothing really to see or do. Be aware they only accept checks or cash.
We stayed only one night in our 36' motorhome. That night they had a ice cream social. Very friendly camp hosts. Nice woodsy surroundings with a small walking trail through an area that deer can be seen. Quiet, clean and large pull throughs made this a park that we would come to again. The only negative was the pool and spa. They were old and in need of a face lift. Clean but old.
This park was very nice with plenty of flowers. The site where we stayed was a pull through with plenty of width and length. Wild turkeys roamed the park, many of the sites had shade but we chose to not have shade due to our satellite. There was distant train sound in the early morning but nothing too loud. We met only employees of the park, but they all were nice. Our only difficulty was with the Wi-fi connecting. We stayed only two days as we were just passing through. We would stay here again.
This park is very nice, and is within 11 miles of the west entrance to Glacier Natl. Park. We had a pull through site that more than handled our 36' coach and auto. The grounds are well maintained with gravel under the vehicles and grass between the sites. Grass is hard to maintain due to the rocky soil, but they did a nice job of keeping it green. We stayed for one week and received the eighth day free. The only negative was the sound of train whistles in the early morning. Long and loud. This negative was removed in my opinion by the friendly attitude of the owners.
Very nice country setting makes this park a come back again park. Beautiful lake. Large dirt parking spaces but very level. The bugs were an issue but that is normal for a true outdoor setting. A perfect park for family gatherings.
Mountain Views at Rivers Edge has a park and a resort. We stayed in the park in a motorhome for the month of August. The sites in the park were all gravel, very wide and roomy. Plenty of room to spread out. This park is very attractive with many statues of wild live and children playing. There are deer that frequent the park. They do not have a playground or a pool. This is more of an adult park. Very few children were visiting when we were visiting. The staff were excellent and offered everything that they had to offer. There are very few trees for shade in the park. Pop ups for shade were not allowed. The resort lots have more features. Some with concrete, shade trees and gazebos with shade. They rent for more and are only available if the owners are not visiting when you are visiting. They have a workout room and jacuzzi but is only for the owners. I am rating this park an eight because of the dust from the all gravel park sites/streets and the lack of a pool, workout room or a jacuzzi. We would stay here again but will request the resort side.
This is a clean older park. Their pool was clean and well maintained. This is a perfect park to use when on the go. We stayed only one night. Most of the sites were pull through making a one night stay perfect. You are on gravel. I gave it a 7 because it was not very memorable. Just a RV park to stop and go through.
The sites are more than large enough. The landscaping was typical desert. A very attractive park. The Pool was clean and centrally located for all sites. We would stay at this park again. I rated it an nine because I feel that they could improve the gravel between the sites. It was not very attractive.
We stayed here in August. The weather was perfect. The park is right out of a post card: picture perfect. The lake was warm and beautiful. Boating, swimming, kayaking, hiking, etc., etc. If you have a family or just want to relax here is the park. The parking sites are dirt and in the trees. Our was not very level and we had to work around the trees but that is nature. We made it work. I rated this a 9 with our un-level parking being the only negative. Many of the other sites looked better. I will try to stay here again when I have more time to enjoy all that it has to offer.
We stayed here for one night. The park gives you that outdoor feeling. Big trees all around you. The parking was on dirt but were level and wide enough for all of my sides and then some. Perfect for a family to enjoy the outdoors. The only negative is it is next to a major road that has truck traffic. The upshifting and downshifting of the trucks was all night. I would have rated this park an 8 if it were not for the truck noise.
We stayed here in August and the weather was on the warmer side. The park was everything and more. Excellent layout. Beautiful grounds. Very inviting pool. The only negative the road noise from the adjoining freeway. If you are going to stay in this park, ask for the west side. You will be further away from the freeway noise. If it were not for the noise I would have rated this park a 10. Yes we will stay here again but on the west side of the park.
