We were here for 5 months and have a very mixed feeling about this park. Many good things such as friendly staff, night and weekend security, large trees, paved roads and very level sites. Also the cable TV was great and way more than basic. The people were friendly except did not welcome snowbirds to participate in activities. Most all park is full time residents,so everything is set up for them. Other RV'ers only stay a short time and not the whole season like we did. The Wi-Fi is good but must pay to use.The rate is the monthly rate then you must add eletric usage. To give you the overall attitude of the park they even charge you 50 cents for a parking sticker. This you're told after you have checked in and they want that in cash. It's not the money; it's the idea of it! The restrooms and showers were cleaned daily, however way overdue for a makeover.
This park is very easy to find and is a nice looking park. Staff are very friendly and the cable TV works good. That's where the good stopped. Interior roads very rough and the RV sites are very uneven. Could not get the RV level and almost didn't get slide in when leaving. As for the Mustang Grill, food OK if you don't order a steak. They don't know how to grill a steak any way but well done. The rate cited is the Passport America rate.
We found this park exceptionally nice. Lady working in the office was very friendly and helpful. Our site was very level and shaded. As to the driving in the park, all you must do is pay attention and you will not have any problems. The previous reviews on this park were way out of line. All I can say is, I am sure glad those people are not next to me. I would have given this park a 10 if the rate was a little lower. We will stay here again if in the area.
What a great way to start a trip by stopping at Stagecoach RV park. People could not have been nicer or more helpful. Site was very level and all utilities worked great. Cable TV and Wi-Fi worked great, also. Rate was Passport America.
We stayed here from 10/2012 to 4/2013. What a great park. Owners and staff know how to make your stay a happy one! Many, many actives to choose from; you can be as busy as you want to be. Roads in the park were excellent, along with the Internet and cable TV. Sites are level, however some are very close. We made many new friends and plan to return next season.
Somewhat of a challenge to get to the park because of the way Texas does there service roads. The young lady gave us excellent directions; otherwise we may not have found it. The young lady working when we got there could not have been nicer or more helpful. Internet was the best and got 30+ TV stations thru the air. Very easy to get into spot and it was level. Only thing, the roads need some TLC as they are rough. Would stay here again if in the area.
We stopped here one night and were glad to do so as I was so tired. However, we would never stay longer do to the following: Was told had Wi-Fi but no signal at all and the restrooms were full of bugs. Our site was level even though is was grass and a little gravel. Water, electric and sewer worked fine, TV through the air only and was limited to 2 stations.Would only stay here again if could not drive any farther.
Again I say there is no such thing as a perfect park, however, all that is important was great at this park. Large level sites, wonderful Wi-Fi, many channels on cable and a very quiet park. There is some road noise but very easy to ignore. Owners are very friendly and check on the park day and night to make sure everything is OK. The nightly rate I posted is for 30 days plus electric and I would like to say the electric rate is the cheapest I have ever found. We would be happy to stay here again if in the area.
We had planned on staying here however when we arrived we found it looked nothing like the pictures on their web site. Many old RV's that had not been taken care of, and the general appearance was that of a dump. The lady we talked to said they took cash, no credit cards; however nothing was mentioned on the web site, nor was I told that when I made the reservation. Also was under the impression that they had cable TV, but they did not. We did not stay here and am very glad we didn't, as we found a beautiful RV park in Hardeeville, SC.
We stayed here the month of January and wished we had not. Sites not level and when it rains your site is mud and standing water. Bathrooms, laundry and pool area is in need of much work. Internet is so slow it wasn't even worth trying to use. In stead of fixing the existing area they are trying to add more sites. Also interior roads were full of holes that they would attempt to fill every couple of weeks. We could not leave early because of a policy of no refunds under any circumstances. Friends of ours was ask to leave because of his complaining and they refused to refund them any money. I could write much more but you get the idea of what the place is like.
Very nice clean park what a joy to stay here. Level sites lots of room and very well laid out. Restrooms and laundry were spotless. Owners were nice and very friendly. Wi-Fi and cable TV were great. The only thing stopping me from rating this park a 10 was the cost. For a KOA they are in line with the costs however KOA's just cost more.
This camp ground needs much work and needs to be cleaned up. Restrooms and laundry was not cleaned the three days we were here and were filthy. The sites are level however weeds all around utility hookups. Would not stay here again unless could not go any farther and only for one night. Good Sam rating of this park way off.
My wife and I agree there is no such thing as a perfect RV park. This park is as close to perfect as it gets. From the time we arrived until the time we left, we were treated as family by the owners, camp hosts and the other campers. The entire park is very clean, neat and well manicured. We stayed here Feb. and Mar. and wish we had been here all winter. We sure hope to return here some day.
This is a very hard park to review. Many good things about the park such as clean restrooms, level sites, clean laundry, nice clubhouse and pool. On the bad side way too much dirt in the air, very badly placed security entrance, very low water pressure and poor management. This is a park owned and operated by a father, son and sons wife. They don't get along and way to much drama so that you don't feel comfortable. This is not a winter Texan park and doubt it ever will be. The rate is the monthly rate.
Park has very nice shaded spots with lots of area between sites. Restrooms and showers are a combo: one person which is fine except there's no place to put clothes and a towel without getting them wet. Corps designers are not RV'ers. The water is clear and very beautiful.
Very clean and well taken care of. Owners and staff will do anything to help. This is a great park for a family with children. Also for a family park it was very quiet. Wish all parks were like this one.
I will never stay at another park without checking what other RVers have to say about it. No time or money is put back into park. Sites are very uneven and the park has a very distinct smell of sewer. Roads are bad and none of the buildings have air conditioning.
Very clean and neat park. Owners try very hard to make all campers happy.Three sets of camp hosts that seem to run things. There is only 3 restroom shower combo's and when park is full it creates problems. Also only one is open 24 hours other 2 from 7:30 AM to 9:00 PM.Can not start laundry after 7:30 PM and does not open untill 7:30 in the morning. Also only 4 washers. The wifi only fair at best.We spent the entire winter here and even though there are some problems we would return for another season.
