Very nice park! The park staff was very helpful at check-in and escorted us to our site. Our pull-through site was more than long enough for both the rig and toad. Shaded, level site. Power, water, cable TV, and Wi-Fi were more than adequate. We would definitely stay here again.

A good campground for overnight or a few days. The pull throughs were more than adequate. Very level sites (I didn't even need to level). Power, water, cable, and Wi-Fi met our needs. We would stay here again.

Lots of permanent rigs at this campground. Some shade trees, but it was very hot here in August. Full hook-ups, cable TV. An OK overnight spot. Definitely nothing fancy.

Very nice RV park. The owner greeted us as we pulled in and was very helpful. Level gravel pull-through sites. Excellent water pressure, great W-Fi signal, and cable TV. Bathrooms and showers were immaculate. Laundry room was cleaned and well maintained. Beautiful view of the Humboldt Range. The only negative we had about this park was its proximity to the interstate - it makes for some loud traffic at night. All in all, however, we would stay here again.

This is a very nice state park. We were here in the middle of the week and the place was practically empty. We had our pick of sites. Needless to say, it was very quiet. The sites all have a picnic table, grill, and food box. The bathrooms were clean (no showers). I didn't notice a dump station. I did take advantage of the lack of vehicles and stopped at a water spigot to fill up my rig's water tank (I definitely wasn't holding up any traffic). As with most state parks I've been in, sites aren't always too level to begin with. Have some extra wood blocks available to help level your rig. The only complaint I have is with the price. $35.00 per night for basically a concrete pad to park on. I understand California's budget is hurting, but that's ridiculous. I don't think I'll go back to this park for that reason. I can get full hook-ups for that. For that reason, I'm only rating this park a 5. If you're a camper and don't mind paying that for no hookups, this is your place.

Nice, clean park. Very friendly and helpful park staff. Wi-Fi and cable TV more than adequate. Great access to the ocean. Sites are kind of close - we would have preferred more room - neighbor's hook-ups are in your "front yard". Very clean bathrooms and showers. We would stay here again if in the area.

This is a nice park for an overnight or a couple of night stay. We had one of the "pull-throughs" with a nice view of the harbor. I say "pull-through" because even though it was, we had to drop off a sidewalk when we pulled out. The manager was very personable and knowledgeable. The shower was actually a converted motel room. We didn't use it, so can't really rate it. Cable TV was more than adequate. Didn't use the Wi-Fi, so can't rate it. Noticed a few permanent residents, but it wasn't trashy. As others have stated, there is a mill near-by. It was running, but didn't bother us at all. Very good access to the boat harbor. The Fisherman's Korner restaurant is a short walk across the parking lot (excellent fresh and fried seafood). Additionally, there are a couple of seafood markets within walking distance. Very good (and cheap) Dungeness crab and fresh oysters. If we're ever in Garibaldi again, we would stay here.

As other reviewers have stated, access is an adventure. Keep your rig in the center of the one lane bridge on the way in. Once you get to the entrance to the campground, it's a steep, short climb to the top. You might want to disconnect your tow vehicle down below. There is some room at the campground, but it is limited. There are no pull-through sites. You also might consider not hooking up your toad till you get out of the park (it's a steep grade out). The site we had was very deep (enough to allow plenty of room to pull our tow vehicle in front of the MH). Excellent cable reception. Wi-Fi was only available if you took your computer to the office. Very convenient access to Carmel and Monterey. The owner and host are very friendly and willing to assist in any way. We would stay here again.

Typical KOA (over-priced). Clean park, a little bit of everything for kids. Nice laundry facility ($2 per load). Excellent cable and Wi-Fi reception.

This is a great park for overnight or extended stays. The pull-thru sites were very adequate. What I really liked about the pull-thru was that the hook-ups were situated in the middle of the site and not at the end, allowing for shorter lengths of cable and hoses to be used. We had very good cable TV and Wi-Fi reception. The showers were some of the cleanest we've seen to date. If you're a golfer, this park is very conveniently located within a few miles of some great golf courses. We didn't use the laundry facility, so can't rate that. We would definitely use this park again.
