Third visit to this park. They have widened the concrete parking slabs in the section we were in which made it easier to park and set up. Other than that there is still a lot of road noise from I-5. The big plus for this place is location. It makes a good halfway stop between Grants Pass and home. Other wise probably would not have stayed here again.
As in previous reviews entry is difficult you pull in and immediately are on a steep hill and if you have a rig as big as mine you don't park and leave it. I had to stay and stand on the brakes the whole time while my wife checked us in. They were told the size of our rig and they put us in a space that only the trailer would fit. I had to park my truck in visitor parking during our stay. Also asked for 50 amp and only had 30 amp at our site. Tripped it several times. There is a river that runs along the back of the park and was shocked to have a couple of hunters in a boat shooting ducks behind the park. Mind you this is in the middle if the city. When I notified the office staff she didn't know what to do except call the owner. I told her to pick up the phone and call 9-1-1 and she still need to call the owner first. Duh!!! Would have left then but had business in Portland to take care of. Will not be returning unless there is no other choice. For what you get this park is over priced.
Park was just OK. We were over nighting so didn't use any of the facilities. Quite a bit of road and airplane noise. Store and gas station was convenient. Staff was friendly. My stay here again if needed.
This was our second visit to Anderson's. It is all about location. Cable worked well. The Wi-Fi was OK. Staff always very friendly. The added a fenced dog run but it does have breed restrictions. The have two sites that are beach front but it is a bit of a walk through the dunes to the water so can't call it waterfront. Still over all very nice place to go. If you are in to clamming, check the schedule. It is prime for that.
This was our third and forth time at this park. It gets better every time. They have added a second dog run in the lower section and expanded the store. The staff are always friendly and accommodating. You frequently have wild turkeys walking through the camp in the morning and evenings. We definitely will return.
Spent a week here and loved it. Staff very friendly. Although the park is very simple in design and no pull-through's it was easy to park and set up. If the wireless internet was a bit faster it would have been a 9.5. Only thing missing would be a fenced dog run area. Paved and concrete pads; a solid 10. We will be going back again.
Overnighted here twice this month. First night was nice. No complaints. They have a huge area fenced off for dogs to run off leash. Facilities appeared clean. The water had a bad taste. Quite a bit of highway noise. The second visit they assigned us a site that was too small for our rig. Had to go back to the office and they changed the site to a larger one. Biggest complaint was the amount of flies. You would have thought we parked at a stockyard.
Very nice park and staff was very friendly. If you have dogs they have a fenced area for them to run off leash. General store was well stocked. Minimal highway noise. If they had cable TV it would have been a higher rating. Overall we are very pleased with this park and plan on returning for a longer stay.
