This is a very nice campground. Every site has a level concrete pad for the RV and a small grassy area (nicely kept) to relax outside. There is ample parking for your tow vehicle. The cable TV and WiFi worked great. Clean bathrooms, showers and good laundry. Walking distance to Hollywood Casino, Resorts Casino and Sam's Town Casino. With Good Sam discount the rate is $12.99/night. They may comp you based on your play at Hollywood, but you have to ask at the end of your stay. The office does have limited hours, but the staff at the casino is always available. If we were to visit Tunica or Memphis again, we would definitely stay here again.
This is a new campground. The sites are mostly a nice size. The wi-fi worked well, bathrooms are nice and clean. One bad item is there is only 1 washer and 1 dryer, so you really need to go to a local laundromat. What is great is easy access to the highway to get to Niagara Falls State Park. We found this campground to be less expensive and nicer than some other area campgrounds. We would stay here again when visiting the Niagara Falls area.
This was a very nice park. We only stayed one night while traveling on Hwy 90. Easy on/off to the hwy. Big park with lots of activities. 24 hr free shuttle to/from the casino. I would recommend this campground and for a longer stay.
We stayed at this park a week. We used Passport America for 3 nights and the regular rate for 4 nights. This still worked out better than the weekly rate. We were in the pull through sites in "The Village" area. If we returned to this park, this is the only area we would want to stay in. It's open so you get a great view of the White Mountains. Close to the pool and bathrooms. The other sites are back in the woods, smaller sites, lots of trees, lots of bugs. There is no antenna TV reception at all. No cable TV in this this area. At this campground you must have your own dish for any TV. The office does have lots of DVD’s, so if you ask, they will loan some to you. They do have WiFi. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes its ok and sometimes it's slower than dial-up. That said, at least you have some access. We have Sprint and was on roaming. This is a great location for access to the White Mountains region. Lots of hiking. Golfing is nearby. Mt. Washington is not too far. Gorham, the closest town is a nice little town. The staff is very nice and helpful. If we were back in this area and didn't mind being disconnected, we would stay here again.
Great park! You are right on the free bus route to downtown Bar Harbor and throughout Acadia Natl Park. Big sites with some trees. Nice pool and laundry. Wi-Fi you pay for, Tengo. Works great. Staff was very friendly and always helpful. Clean bathrooms and showers. We liked being near the water. If we come back to the area we would stay the season at this park. Highly recommend this park for this area.
Very pretty wooded campground. Nice heated pool, laundry, clean restrooms, small rec room and small store. Each site has a firepit. The roads are a little narrow but still fine for a big rig. This campground is a great base for visiting the area. The staff was always helpful and nice. We would stay here again for sure.
I gave this park a 9 rating because of location. It's basically a parking lot with 50 back in sites on gravel. There is a laundry, bathhouse and dump station. If you want to visit NYC, this is the place to stay. We took the ferry for 6.00 ow to pier 11. The metro is about 5 blocks away. No problem taking the metro. Worked great. Only 1.75 per trip. We also learned how to take metro into the city then the subway 2.25 per trip. We could go anywhere we wanted. We never had to use our truck the entire time. If visiting NYC, we would stay here again.
This is a Carefree Park and we stayed on a special May rate of $20/night. This is a perfect park for access to Atlantic City - 10 miles away, to visit Philadelphia - 50 miles away and for hiking. We were close to the National Wildlife Refuge and state parks. Wi-Fi worked great it's through Tengo and is free for up to a month stay. There is NO cable and only a couple channels come in even with a booster. The clubhouse and pool are nice. I would recommend this park whenever visiting Atlantic City or this area. We would stay here again.
This campground is a perfect place to stay to visit Washington DC. The campground itself is clean, nice pools, clubhouse, snack shop, laundry and store. It's easy access to I-95. There is a metro bus that stops right inside the campground. It takes you to the metro train. For approx 8.00pp you can travel round trip right to downtown Washington DC. The campground offers a daily transportation orientation talk. When visiting Washington DC this is the ONLY place we will stay.
Great park to visit Charleston about 12 miles outside of town. Close to hiking trails. Very nice bathrooms. Wifi worked great at site. Like previous posts the ground was a little soft, and if it rained I can see where it would be really wet. We had dry weather, and the sites were fine. We would camp here again if visiting Charleston.
We really enjoyed this park. The sites are a nice size and separated by nice foliage. We were not expecting WiFi at the site, but we had it, and it worked great. It has a nice heated pool and hot tub. We really liked being able to cross the street and see the sunrise on the beach over the ocean and then see the sunset on the river pier while fishing. There 2 restaurants that border the property. The Reef, on the ocean side and Aunt Kates on the river side. Both have happy hours and great food. We would stay here again.
This is a Passport America park. We really enjoyed this park. The people are nice, the park is clean, the pool, hot tub and clubhouse is really nice. The only thing, was the pay WiFi for $$$. Has easy I-95 on/off access. Good location to visit Merritt National Wildlife Refuge and other sites. We would camp here again.
We stayed on a Passport America rate. We had a pull through site. Staff was very friendly. Has a nice pool and it's a very clean campground. The WiFi in the clubhouse worked fine, but not at the site. We would stay here again.
We loved our stay here. We arrived on 09Nov09 and was to stay until Feb 9th, 2010. Right away we extended our stay until March 31 2010. Some sites are on the smaller side and some large. The staff is very helpful and great to work with. It has a nice pool and clubhouse area. Starting mid Dec to the end of Mar there were so many activities we enjoyed and everyone was always welcome. You are far enough away from Key West to be really laid back, yet close enough (20 Miles) to go enjoy the party atmosphere of Key West. The only bad thing was the Wi-Fi was very intermittent at the site, sometimes not at all. Every Sunday is an afternoon party with a keg of free beer, a band, burgers or some kind of meat and everyone brings a dish. They also have a huge concert with 5 bands every other month or so. We signed up for next winter so we will camp here again.
We stopped here for a few nights on a Passport America rate. The campground is about half RV sites and half permanent trailer homes. It's a great stopping off place to Everglades Natl Park. It's close to shopping and easy access to the turnpike. The pool area is nice. The laundry is clean. There is a small fitness center. The staff was always helpful and nice. We ended up extending our stay for 6 nights. We would stay here again.
This is a very nice campground. Nice size sites and the landscaping is well done. The Wi-Fi and cable worked great. The location is great if your visiting Key West. The public bus stop is right outside the park entrance. The only bad thing is the price, but it's all about supply and demand. We highly recommend this campground. When visiting Key West we will stay here again.
We weren't sure about this park when we arrived. We ended up in the back which is tight navigation. But once we got set up, we were happy. The pool is small and needs chairs but is clean and refreshing. The Key Deer come around every morning and evening and just hang out. The bus stop to Key West is just 1/2 block away. For the Keys, this is a reasonably priced campground. Sites are small but that's most sites in the Keys. The cable and Wi-Fi worked fine and the people are nice. We would camp here again.
We really enjoyed this park. We think it's in a great location. You are close to a nice beach, lighthouse park and not far from the bars and restaurants on Tybee Island. It is a little drive into Savannah and to I-95, but that was fine. Some sites are larger than others, clean bathrooms, small pool but very nice. If we are in this area again, we will stay here.
This is a nice and convenient campground when traveling on I-95. It's in a quiet area. Nice large pull thru sites. Some back ins. Wi-Fi worked well but there is a charge for it. We would stay here again.
We stayed here 2 nights and it was good for us based on the location we needed to be. It's an older campground. They only accept cash or checks. There is an open area on a hill that works well for big rigs. However, navigating the roads is very tight. The bathrooms are clean but very basic. It's not far from the turnpike so that is also a plus. We would stay again if we were passing through.
A nice campground. We would have stayed longer but they were sold out. Some sites are large and some are small so make sure to verify. It's along a large lake and also has a golf course. If you want, you can use the resort facilities. You will need to drive to get from the camping area to the pool and resort area. We would camp here again.
We stayed at Lakeridge from May - September. We were workampers in the pool and waterslide areas. Everyone, staff and campers were great. This is a great campground for families. Lots of activities. The Wi-Fi worked great, however there are a few sites that it's not as good. So if Wi-Fi is important to you, just let them know when you are making a reservation. We also liked that we were close to the Blue Ridge Parkway. The directions say to take the long way if you have a big rig. That is very important! Even with our 5ver we took the long way and were glad we did. We would definitely camp here again.
Nice campground for Nashville area attractions. We wished they would have had cable. Being so close to Nashville you would think the local TV would be fine but bad reception. Also the Wi-Fi was listed but the signal was so weak we couldn't use it. We would stay here again.
We changed our residency to South Dakota and needed to get our drivers licences. This campground was close to Madison, SD and it had the internet connection we wanted. It's a very clean and well kept campground. It's an easy off/on the highway. The sites are large with shade. We will stay here again if we need to go back to Madison, SD.
We found this place due to high winds and a blizzard. We stayed 1 night and it was fine. The sites are grass/dirt. Since the campground is part of the hotel you can use their amenities. The cable and Wi-Fi worked great. They had a hot tub in the hotel and we also got a continental breakfast included with our stay. If you need an overnight place to camp, this is perfect.
We stayed 1 night while traveling. The campground is easy off/on the highway. Very scenic. The only drawback is quite a few site are not level and very small. For 1 night it was fine. We may stay again only when traveling.
This is a great little campground for a couple night stay. We stayed one night while traveling and it was easy off/on to the highway, yet it was far enough away to make you feel your in the country. We didn't get to hike them, but I guess they have an extensive network of hiking and ATV trails right outside the campground. We would stay here again.
We really liked this campground. Wi-Fi worked great. Having the Avi Hotel next door was nice. The pool at the Avi has a tropical set up and is right next to the Colorado River. We had a site that faced the golf course so the view was pretty and the sunset were nice. We did have a golf ball or two come by. We now prefer Laughlin and this campground over Vegas. We will stay here again.
This campground was perfect for us. It's a great base location for all the LA area attractions. We had a waterfront site and loved it. We were able to watch dolphins right from our fith wheel. The campground is also along a 22 mile bike/walking path. For some there may be a few negatives. We are right under the flight pattern for LAX so there is loud plane noise all the time, also to the south is a treatment plant. The sites are small. Regardless, we loved it and would stay again.
Nice campground. They do have cable but you end up with 8 channels total. WiFi is extra through TengoInternet. It does work, but it is slow. We really liked the sauna, hot springs and pool area. We stayed here a month and went almost everyday. This is a great location for Joshua Tree Natl Park, Coachella Valley Preserve, Palm Springs and other area attractions. We would stay here again.
Very clean and well maintained park. We stayed for 4 months over the winter. Lots of activities. Great health club and tennis courts. Pool area was very nice. Nice golf course. They list WiFi but do not have it anymore. We signed up with Time Warner Roadrunner service. We would stay here again.
Nice park. Great location for Arches and Canyonlands Nat'l Parks. Small but nice pool. No TV unless you have a dish. Wifi works, but is sometimes slow. We stayed a month and now were back again. Great park if you have ATV's.
Great Campground. Excellent location to Mesa Verde NP. Only thing was the website says TV channels available with antenna. We had to buy a booster to get any and then only 3 with bad reception. Nice pool and hot tub. Friendly staff. We would camp there again.
