The Interstate noise is terrible. The driveway into the park is full of chuckholes-about 6" deep. When we arrived the grass had not been cut for a long time. While there, they did get out a lawn mower and gave it a lick and a promise. If we return to Joliet we will find another park
The owners recently purchased this park (about 2 years ago). They go out of their way to make you welcome and are very hard workers. While we had not stayed here before it is obvious that they are making improvements and it should be rated a 10 soon.We had a great time and will return to enjoy this park again.
This is an expensive park; weekend rates are $40 per night. The sites are narrow and there is NO grass anywhere. The ocean is not close, even though the parks ads indicates a short walk to the beach. For anyone wanting to ride ATV's this would be great.
This park is expensive for what you get. In addition to the nightly rate they have a $5 charge to use the dump. There are two rv sites. One is next to the railroad and the other is a converted parking lot for a picnic area. This park needs a lot of upkeep and cleaning. The local laws do not allow parking in the nearby Wal-Mart.
