We have camped here before & were very satisfied with the site & service. However, this trip we booked an end site in the same row we previously were in. Once we arrived we noticed how small the lot was & were surprised no one said this site was significantly smaller when we called, especially since my husband was sharing with the gal how impressed we were with the large sites. We discussed with the office, and the woman indicated only 1 small van was scheduled in that site for 1 night and it would be empty the week we were there. Not true. We returned from a trip into town and the trailer next to us was so close, & just a few feet from the sewer hookup & our picnic table. We went back to the office to inquire why they put someone there & were treated with total disrespect by both the "older" woman & man. We got what we wanted & moved, but had to listen to the woman & man put it all on us as if we were somehow wrong for discussing this issue with them. Both lacking in communication skills & customer service! The rest of our trip was great and our site was perfect. Not sure if we will return though.
For a campground inside a national park, it was disappointing. Sites were unkempt and not maintained as level sites. Showers and restrooms were not kept up well. We had pull through sites but had to have park rangers come in with chain saws and trim trees just so we could get our fifth wheel and a bus out of the park. Thank goodness those working at the park were very accommodating.
Wonderful 4 day stay. Staff helpful and friendly. Showers, restrooms, laundry all top notch. Close to shopping and cultural sites. My only issue for such a nice park was the sites were covered with small stones that produced a chalk like powder. This left a lot of footprints and dust in the fifth wheel. We will return.
We camped here approximately 3 weeks. Since this is an adult only park we indicated our daughter might fly out and bring her 3 month old son for a visit. We were told no, there were no exceptions. While disappointing we did understand the parks rules. Imagine my surprise when 2 teenagers showed up at the pool and later in the week someones grandson was here on spring break. I got the impression these campers were here every year and perhaps had an understanding. Regardless, my daughter cancelled her plan to visit. We also had a dog that constantly barked at everyone, nothing addressed with this long term resident either. If rules don't apply to everyone, then this is not a park we will ever stay at again.
