People are very friendly and guide you to your site. Sites are level and we had a nice pull through. The pancake breakfast and Indian taco suppers are excellent. Nice and quiet. Well maintained. Good walking. The only negative is that the roads are not paved. This is on the outskirts of the Badlands so you won't find restaurants close by.
Very well maintained. Great level pull through sites. Only negative about the whole park was that it was close to the highway, but we had thermopane windows so it wasn't a problem. We'll be back here again on the way home.
Entrance sign is not very visible from the road and entrance road is narrow and rough. Good pull through sites and easy in and out. Beautiful landscaping with many flowers. Very friendly staff and facilties are very clean. Gettysburg is about an hour drive. For a nice historical dining experience try the Old South Mountain Inn about 12 miles away.
Super site was great. Easy in and out. Friendly people. Lots of amenities and very family friendly. Provides a free parking lot a block from the boardwalk for your use. Park is about 2 miles from the beach.
We arrived an hour before check in time and this was not well received. We were told to park in an open field across from registration but there was no way to turn around to get there. Our final site was very nice with table, chairs and flowers but sites were tight. Entrance to the park is on a narrow road and it's easy to miss it. Nice park otherwise. We camped with a 40 ft fifth-wheel on one of the larger pull-through sites and getting in and out took careful driving.
Excellent park if you're touring the DC area. We spent a week here and will go back. Extremely friendly and helpful staff regarding using the bus and metro systems. Bus leaves from the park every half hour. This park is really big rig friendly with an easy in and out for a 40 ft fifth wheel. All facilities very clean.
Huge park right next to the entrance to Harpers Ferry Nat'l park. Great walking. Only complaint was that our site wasn't level. This is a class organization and we had a great time. They have a Saturday and Sunday free pancake breakfast.
We were here when it was cold and early in the season. We had reserved a pull-through site, but when we got there they didn't have one and we were assigned a back-in site which is difficult with a 40 ft fiver. Only after we found an open pull-through were we able to get what we originally reserved. Other than that this is a first class RV park with all the amenities. We enjoyed our stay, but would have liked this park to be closer to Detroit.
This was our second visit and after 25 different parks this year it is one of our favorites. Good size pull through sites. Easy in and out. Clean, quiet. Management is very friendly and conscientious about the services they provide. Great for walking. When you come you'll go a mile or two past where GPS takes you but just follow the signs. This will become a routine stop for us and we're liking Chattanooga.
We were put in the Avalon Dr. location which is basically a gravel parking lot with full hookups. No grass, no trees, no facilities, no tables, no dumpster for trash. Mgt gave us no warning that was what we were getting when we asked for a pull through site. We were supposed to stay 3 nights but pulled out after one. The other location opposite the office may be okay but it couldn't handle a 40 ft fifth wheel. Lots of street traffic noise and the railroad tracks are very close. Next time we'll try someplace else. The other 6 or 7 units appeared to be working people here for a long term.
Very family friendly. Indoor pool as well as outside beach and play ground. Steam train rides and the place was decorated to the hilt for Halloween. Very friendly staff. Has laundry and library plus group area with cooking facilities. We stayed a week. Good sized sites and no problems getting in and out with a 40 ft fiver. Only negative was the gravel roads and the location is a little out of the way.
Park has large shaded sites. Easy in and out for our 40 ft fifth wheel. No sewer hook ups for anyone, because of the river. Only 50 amp sites are back-ins so we settled for 30 to get a pull through. Very much of a family destination park with the river on both sides. When making your reservations (they don't do on-line) make sure you understand they don't have sewer and 50 amp pull throughs. We thought we were getting it all so it was a surprise when we arrived.
Clean and well maintained. There are family activities. Sites are very close together. There are gravel roads and sites. Our 5th wheel is 40 feet and it was easy to get in and out. Bathrooms were very clean. Lots of overnight traffic. Check out Chef Louie's restaurant and the smoked chicken at the Brig. We'll use this as an option to the Souix Falls KOA.
Very good for families with children (pools, playground, bikes, mini-golf), All gravel roads and sites. Great pancake breakfast and Indian Taco suppers offered daily at a modest cost. Our rig is a 40 ft fifth wheel and they provided a good site with no problems getting in and out. Unfortunately there are no good restaurants within 20 - 30 miles. Only issue we had was that we arrived early and the office staff wasn't all that accommodating in knowing where we could park until our site was ready. We would definitely stay here again.
Easy in and out with wide streets. The sites are close together. Park is well maintained. Has no playground or pool. There are only 2 showers and a washer available. Located in open prairie, 11 miles east of Bismark. No real office. Good place for an overnight stay. We'll use it again. A good restaurant in Bismark was the East 40 Chophouse.
Small city campground on the edge of the city park. Park is well maintained. Only six 50 amp sites available. Others are 30 amp. All are narrow and back in. Slides can be used, but the neighbors are 2-3 feet away. Showers are $2.00. While this park has it's limitations it provided a nice place while visiting relatives in the area.
One of the nicest RV parks we've stayed in. Very big rig friendly. Long level pull-through sites. Park is very well maintained. Bathrooms were exceptionally clean at all times. Quiet. We will make this park a routine stop on our travels west. If you have a chance don't miss the Munsinger/Klemens Gardens. They're exceptional, and free.
