We came in for a one night stay as affiliate members from Thousand Trails, hence the $3 rate. This campground is beautiful and well maintained. Lots of family activity. The staff is efficient and we would stop here again. The only reason I didn't rate this a 10 is due to the lack of trimming on the trees. Some branches hung rather low for my 12'6" fifth wheel. When raising my TV antenna it got caught up in the tree. I climbed up and trimmed it to clear it.
This could be a very nice campground if it were managed right. Too many full time residents with all their stuff stashed outside the trailer makes the place look trashy. The roads are narrow and the sites short, but it was roomy enough for our 32 ft fiver and (barely) our truck. The Wi-Fi was down. The lady at the check in desk was not friendly but all business. This was OK for an overnighter, but I wouldn't want to stay here more than that. We stayed on RPI (Resort Parks International) which was supposed to be $10 but there was a $2 mandatory cable TV fee. Cable was worth the extra bucks.
Great park!!! Friendly owners on site, very helpful, knowledgeable and social. Sites are large with plenty of room to get in and out. We had a pull-thru but would have had no problem with a back-in. Sites are level and clean. Hookups are very handy and well located. We would camp here again.
This was a very clean and convenient campground. Staff is friendly and helpful. Large, long pull throughs with conveniently located utilities. Limo service to the Big Texan Steakhouse was a plus. Great food there. Pool was clean and heated. Hot tub was covered over but management was quick to tell us know they would open it up if we wanted to use it. In spite of being very close to I-40 we didn't notice excessive noise. Easy in from the freeway, easy out. We would stay here again.
This is a very clean park with grass sites, wide access and some shade. The maintenance on the park is immaculate, everything kept trimmed, painted and looking new. The management is very friendly and helpful. It's a little off the beaten path but well worth the side trip. The emphasis here is on peace and quiet. We stopped for two nights on our way back to California. We would stay here again.
This campground was exactly what we were looking for on a one night stop. It was close to the freeway, but not so close as to catch the noise. All sites are spacious, level and clean. Most sites are pull through. The grooming of the place was immaculate. There are not a lot of amenities in the campground. It's primarily a parking lot with grass between sites. There are many restaurants within walking distance of the campground, but as an overnighter, it is ideal. I would recommend this to other campers for this purpose only. If you're looking for a resort, this is not it.
Very clean, very friendly management. A quiet park, not too much happening in the surrounding area except the Stephen Foster Historical Museum in White Springs. That alone is worth the stop. Easy in and out. However, DO NOT trust your GPS to get you there. For some reason the management says they hear frequent complaints from folks who say their GPS put them 10 miles off course, and it happened to us too. This is one of the nicer campgrounds we have stayed at, mostly for a great value for the dollar.
A very clean park. Nicely manicured lawns. Spaces a little on the small side but had little to no trouble getting in and out of our site. About 17 miles off I-10 with easy access. Some activities in the clubhouse and no license required to fish from their lake shore. I would come back here again.
This CG is more geared to those who like a more rustic environment. It is heavily wooded but the asphalt roads in and out are in good repair. If you like amenities such as pool, clubhouse and activities, this is not for you. If you like tent camping or RV camping very close to nature, try this place. I thought as an RV'er that this is a little pricey for what you get but it worked well for us just passing through for a one nighter.
The campground has easy access, sites are spacious and clean. Management is friendly and helpful. We only stayed here for a one night layover but would gladly come back for a longer stay if the opportunity arose.
We camped here on Passport America and found it to be an excellent campground for the price. The sites are spacious, the management is friendly and helpful. It's a little bit off the beaten track (12 miles from the eastbound exit I-10, 2 miles from westbound exit I-10) but well worth the trip. You have to go over a dirt road for 2.5 miles but it's pretty smooth. Some snowbirds here. If you're looking for a long term quiet campground or a short 2 or 3 night stay, this is definitely recommended.
