This park is now called Brannan Island KOA. Nice and shady, however the trees dropped very sticky sap all over the place, and the "grass" was ALL stickers. Beware dog owners - your dog will be literally covered with hundreds of stickers! Too bad, because grass would be so nice if it weren't for the stickers. Kids had fun with the tennis court, pool and volleyball court. Had intermittent power on our full hook up site. Quiet at night. This place is just okay.

This is a 1000 Trails park. It could use a serious update to the facilities. Has great potential, and could be really nice but it's very outdated and tired looking. Very quiet, deer all over the place. Overall quite nice, but could be awesome with a little TLC.

This place is awesome! Beautiful facilities, restaurant on site, clean, quiet. What more can you ask for when you're camping in the middle of Bakersfield, CA? The pool is heated and the kids had a blast swimming. Newspaper is delivered to your door. Wonderful people running the front desk. I highly recommend this place.

What an awesome place to stay! Clean sites, beautiful pools, nice putting greens. Yes, there are planes overhead - but where can you stay in Vegas to get away from them? I paid for a deluxe pull through site that had grass and was nicely located next to amenities. If you don't pay for that, you may end up way in the back where it's just concrete and rocks. We loved it and will be back!

The sign that reads "Overnighters Welcome" shouldn't scare anyone away. Yes, there's a population of full-timers, but he people that ran this place were friendly, the pool was heated nicely so my kids could swim at Christmas, and it was clean and tidy. All that said, I would stay there again!

Yes, this is a parking lot on the beach with full hookups, but it's a parking lot on the BEACH with full hookups! What a fabulous place to stay if you want beach accessibility! We loved this place so much. The weather in was fabulous, the people are nice, there's a new Safeway grocery store right down the street. Who could ask for more?

As other reviews have stated, this is a very clean RV resort with nice amenities. The resort is spotlessly clean, very quiet and conveniently located near I-5. The only down side is the overwhelming number of signs with messages such as "No Dogs on Grass", "No Climbing in Trees", "No Jumping in Pool", "No Bicycles on Sidewalk", etc. I understand that these rules are in place, and appreciate that fact very much. However, most resorts put those rules/regulations in paperwork they hand you upon check in - they don't post signs all over the park. My daughter jokingly said "No smiling, no laughing, no eye contact". So glad we left our dog at home! Overall, a good experience.

We camped here over Thanksgiving 2007 and were pleasantly surprised. The sites are concrete, level and clean. Though there were many nice rigs in the facility, it was very quiet. The golf course looked like it was nice as well. It's a nice place to stay, conveniently located right off of the Hwy 99. I would stay here again.
