Nice site. Not big, but adequate. Excellent WiFi. Staff are great. We had a female staff member and she was awesome. Lots of activities, but quiet in site 44 at night. Great pizza delivered to site. Would return.
It was very cold when we were here but it was still pleasant. Two small lakes around campsite. Because it was winter, Wi-Fi was free and it was fast. Self check-in, but maintenance man was pleasant. Liked it here.
This was a disappointment. Check in was pleasant. Asked about WiFi and they said it is very sporadic and doesn't work well. It never worked. Site was a pull through but a little short. Pleasant campground otherwise.
Difficult to tell the name of this park, but it is on 8230 Collier Blvd. Have to go past it and turn to come back in. Read instructions from resort carefully. Office seemed a little confused. Man parking us brought us in the wrong way for a big rig to park. He also put us in the wrong place. Pool, clubhouse, all amenities are great. Nice, comfortable place. Good deal for Naples with PA.
This was a return visit because it is fairly comfortable and a good rate with PA. Wi-fi with Tengo worked really well this time. Safe park, gated in a pleasant rural setting. The ladies in the office are wonderful.
Well the residents and staff make this park what it is. Very friendly. Old campground that seems to be in some kind of transition. Lots of older park models for sale or rent. Have about 15 transient sites. Wi-Fi is through Tengointernet...really bad. Hookups are fine. Sites are adequate. Some have a cement pad.
This is a very nice park with large angled, asphalt end sites. The Preserves is for motor homes; Town Park is mostly park models; and the Villages is the regular sites. The Preserves and Town Park have a heated pool while the Villages is not heated. It is a waste not being heated. No one uses it. The lady in the office, is amazing. She does her very best to please and does a great job as does another gentleman employee. The restrooms are okay but really need a thorough cleaning. Laundry is nice as is clubhouse. These are new owners apparently, and they are working hard on improvements.
Overall this is a great, safe park. It is divided into three. Preserves are for Class A only; Town is for park models and some fifth wheels. Village is more for rentals but has some owners. Village pool is not heated so there is no point of having it. Wi-Fi is extra but we didn't use it. Restrooms are basically clean but could be better. Friendly park with ample sites. They are offset so it feels bigger also.
Safe clean park. Some long-term residents but they are friendly and neat. Wi-Fi is a little slow. Nice, large concrete sites. Friendly staff. Laundry is annoying. Have to pay $2.00 for card for door and then apply credits for laundry on card. Cable TV works well.
Price reflects Passport America price. We thought this campground was just fine. I think we were in the new section. Sites are on grass but Internet and cable were great. Looks like there has been a cleanup. Some permanent sites but relatively clean. Washrooms and laundry are fine. We went to buffet at lunch by the office at Fran's Restaurant. It was awesome and was $10.50. We would come back here.
Nice site by river but checkin area is not clearly marked. The biggest problem is they have live snakes in the check in area. There should at least be a warning on the door. Big turn off for us. Not everyone is uncomfortable with a snake on the counter. Price is a deal.
This park is getting old and tired and more expensive. Washrooms are cleaned but need some paint at the very least. Wi-Fi is intermittent. Rather go somewhere else where there is more for your money now.
This was a disappointment. We were visiting family with two fifth wheels and they insisted on a reservation cost of $4.00 for each of us for staying a week. If we didn't have to be there, we wouldn't have. It was okay. Have to pay extra for WI-FI and for dogs. Nickel and dime
Owner is very friendly. Very open to change site if you are not happy. Sites have been trimmed recently. Didn't use pool but kids looked like they were having a good time. Feels very safe. Nice pull through. Happy with this campground.
Apparently this park has gone through managers, but has been newly bought in September 2011. We have seen the owner busy with some planners so it looks like there is something in the works. The employee on duty was very pleasant and helpful. Gave us pick of the sites: one of which was concrete. It rained all that night and we didn't have a problem leaving. We would come back for a layover.
Pros-nice staff, big enough sites, safe, cable TV. Cons-restrooms and showers are very tired. Hate that the sites are back to back when we have a back window. No clubhouse. Occasional use of a "Tasch" house.
Well, this is an older park. We paid $10, Passport America and it was worth it. Bathrooms and showers are very tired but clean for how old they are. The lots are big. Cable is excellent, 64 analog and 28 digital. We couldn't get the Wi-Fi where we were but are self contained so we hadn't asked to have it. Check in was friendly. Good one nighter on our way.
This is a barely passable park. It has a fence around it and felt okay. It is part of a motel next door. The motel has the washrooms and showers which are very tired. Wi-Fi worked well. Lots are adequate. Water pressure is very low. Would look around before staying here again.
Great gym, nice clubhouse, big sites, very scenic. Stained glass teacher and setup is outstanding. Also very good setup for quilt-making and sewing. Line dancing, genealogy, tagalongs, pot lucks. Lots of activities. Only complaint is the pool is not very hot, and they leave the cover on. If you want to use it, you have to go and ask for staff to come and remove it. Wish they would uncover pool at 10 am and close at 10 pm, and there would be more water activities. Also no picnic tables at sites.
Clean, well maintained park. Nice lounge, laundry, and restrooms are very clean. Pool is good. Nice dog run with signs saying picnic tables would be removed if rules aren't followed. That is the good part. Sites are little close. Staff comes with you and insists on how you park in your site per management orders. Lot of rules. People with three dogs were asked to leave. Monthly people checking in have to give driver's license and copies are made, questionnaire asking if there is a lien on trailer and who with, copies of dog vaccinations etc. There are little children living here in longer term. Deposit is kept against electric bill at end. Speed limit is 5 mph.
Very friendly check in. Site is covered with volcanic rock which is odd to walk in. Didn't track in, so it was okay. Restrooms and showers are ceramic tiles and very clean. Laundry room has new clean units. Our cable TV worked well, but apparently gophers had been chewing their lines. The Wi-Fi did not work, and I didn't get a lot of response when I mentioned it. For the PA price, it was a nice, safe campground.
Price reflects PA membership. This is okay considering the price and the city. There are a lot of long term residents but most are neat. Our water, sewer, cable TV worked great. We had our own Wi-Fi. Washrooms are not for motorhomes or units with their own, but checked them and they were not nice at all. We left at night several times and everything was untouched. If we come back to Las Vegas, possibly might come to this park again.
Rate is Passport America. Greeted by staff as soon as we arrived. Sites had just been raked. Staff showed us where everything was and then said to come and pay when we were comfortable. Cable TV is $1.00 extra and Wi-Fi is $5.00 extra. Washrooms and showers are tired, but very clean. Laundry room is good. Office is very old. There is a fence around park so it feels safe. Noticed a staff member making rounds late at night. Not fancy but a great stop over. Would stop again.
We thought this was a pleasant park. Lots of full time residents but neat and clean. Felt fine. Parked on grass. Antenna brought in 30 television stations. Little noise from train and highway but not bad. Hard to avoid sprinkler nozzles on the way out. Self serve to come in. Washrooms were clean. Showers are 25 cents per minute. Good overnighter at a good price.
First of all there is a $5.00 "reservation charge" to make the reservation on top of the nightly fee. I reserved for two units and had to pay $5.00 for each unit. There is also a $2.00 per day fee for the Wi-Fi. Also there is a charge per day of $5.00 per pet. It was an okay campground. It was rainy and soggy. Our "pull through" was on grass. Washer and dryers are mega expensive. I don't think we would park here again.
This is a pleasant park. The manager is very friendly and accommodating. Lots of long term residents but lots are kept clean and tidy. Surprised at the trees and shade. Pool is beautiful. Restrooms and showers are extremely clean. Keys are given out to the over nighters. The only complaint is some lots are parked next to three big propane dispensers. Kind of unnerving.
We really liked this campground. It is very easy to get to and right off 99W. The front desk staff was super friendly and helpful. The restroom and showers were very clean and pretty. There were gravel sites and nice green grass beside with picnic table. It f Feels safe. There are lights at every third site. It appears there are but their sites are very clean and tidy. This was a deal with Passport America.
This is a run down campground. Rates with PA were good but not worth it. Restroom and showers were not clean. Lots of full time residents. Lots were long enough but needs tree trimming and drainage. Front Desk was friendly but wouldn't come back.
Very friendly at office. Lots were fine as we were on gravel. Washrooms and showers were not clean. It was raining so there were a lot of water holes as there wasn't drainage. I don't think we would stay again.
Well it is an odd park in that the sites are in tiers. I found it a little nerve wracking to park on one tier and it feels like you are on the edge. Definitely need to chock the wheels. Nice and clean. Showers were 25 cents. Cable TV and Wi-Fi work great.
We like this Municipal park. Sites are big enough for motorhomes. Wi-Fi is excellent. Washrooms are extremely clean and nice. Slight noise from lumbermill down the road but not bothersome. Well maintained with beautiful flowers and a garden. Safe. Would definitely return. Recommended by park to eat at Coldwater Hotel. It was excellent and had big portions.
Well this park was a disappointment. The scenery was beautiful. The WiFi, according to the office, gets turned on 9 am to 11 am and 5 pm to 7 pm but doesn't usually work. So the advertised WiFi doesn't work and the cable TV didn't work at any sites. Our friend was charged $45. for being over 37 feet long with his fifth wheel for being oversize and got the regular sized lot. After that showers are metered for $3.00 for 6 minutes and it costs $8.50 for one time in the "hot springs" pool which is mountain water which has been reheated?
Lot of branches that need trimming. The employee taking reservations on the phone and who checked us in was borderline friendly. Site 35 was very difficult to get into. Little cedar trees across the street. I think we would try for a different campground next time.
This is a great park. Outstanding restrooms, showers, and laundromat. Clubhouse is geared for rally's but books and TV are available also. These are super owners and run a great park. We plan to return.
This is mostly full times but they have about 6 sites that are comfortable for big rigs. It is a comfortable RV park. Owner and park manager are very friendly and helpful. Residents are friendly and they all seem to be asleep by 9 pm!. Clean laundromat. Would come again.
First of all there is a $3.95 surcharge for checks or credit cards. They want cash. Lot of stairs to climb to the office and it isn't very well marked. Washrooms and showers are a little scary but okay. Pros are that it is a beautiful area and if the weather had been warmer, it would have been great. Neat area, lots of restaurants. Felt safe. Worth the $23.00.
We are from Ontario and camped here for a week to visit our son. What a beautiful park! Sites are large and most have electrical. Washrooms are really clean and showers also. This is a great provincial park. Staff patrol often.
We stayed in an unserviced site with Passport America rates because it was so busy. Very nice couple are owners. Showers are older but apparently they are building new ones shortly. Watch low wires on the "seasonal" driveway on the way in. Trees could use a little trimming but not so bad. Liked it here. Felt very safe. Gates are closed at night.
Off road, adequate campsite, one washroom and shower per gender not so great. We reserved two days before with Passport America rate of $16.00. When we arrived the 12 (?) year old boy and his buddies were running the office and an 8 (?) year old boy was taking campers to their site. We said we had the PA rate and the boy said they had cancelled with PA two days before. He said he would send his parent to our site when they came home. They never came and we went to bed at 11 pm. In the morning we went to the office and the owner said she couldn't honour Passport America because they had cancelled two days before. We said we had the email etc. confirming rate. Owner also said if we hadn't complained, she would have given us 20% off, but not now (???) We paid $33.00. Feels like the old "bait and switch". Wouldn't have gone back again anyway, but certainly not now.
We didn't like this park. First of all the manager was sarcastic when we asked if the $5.00 deposit for the key to the washroom was in effect. Messy grounds blamed on the hurricane. The wireless internet worked very poorly. Manager complained about the tap to water connection was leaking but the tap itself leaked. Showed her, and she went away. Wouldn't go there again.
This rate is Passport America. Apparently this is a new owner for a year and we can see there have been improvements. Owner is very accommodating. The hook ups are new and great. The washroom and showers are disgusting and should be torn down. Big bump turning into grounds and bumpy rough hill. Garbage bin is parked in front and tractors are parked in front too.
Positive: safe, beautiful park. Lots of room with paddocks of horses. Office manager is very friendly. It had rained very hard all day and the park was still manageable. Park doesn't have hook up sewers but has a dump station. Negative: laundry room is not available anymore. Washrooms need some serious updating. Was clean under these circumstances. We would come back.
