Nice level campsite and overall appearance was great. Wifi connected asap. People and staff were very friendly and helpful. The park was quite spacious and had many trees for shading. There was a park for children as well as a pool. They even had gas pumps at the entrance of the KOA. I would definitely recommend this place for overnight and extended stays!!!
This was one big gravel pit. Nothing spectacular to speak about. The Wi-Fi wasn't too good, you needed a coupon for each day you needed to use it and the connection was bad. We stayed 3 days but wouldn't visit again. The atmosphere was dismal!!!
Good for an overnight stay, but not much more. The property could use an overhaul. The picnic tables had bird droppings all about and needed to be redone altogether. The sites need to be re-graveled also. The Wi-Fi was excellent and the bathrooms were clean. Prior visits we enjoyed good meals, both breakfast and dinners.
Camp Verde is a great place to spend your winter months in Arizona, but you do get some weather there. The town is easily accessible from this park in addition to shopping and site seeing in nearby towns. The park is very clean and neat. Not good for children however as there isn't much to occupy them other than the pool in summer months. Its a great place for someone to stay for a night or two. There is the Cliff Castle Casino across the way from the park which offers some entertainment on weekends other than gambling and the park offers a bus to and from the casino. The park has a gym for exercise enthusiasts, but it is quite small. Its a great place for adults and retirees!
